I found the link to streaming the match on the official site yesterday. I'm a complete novice with this but I'll follow the steps provided, pay my £10 and hope for the best. I hope a large proportion of the fee goes to the club. Success in the FA Cup is vital, especially this season.

What are the odds on the FA asking for a cut of the revenue from the streaming?

I received a message from a Slough supporter saying he wouldn’t watch the stream unless some of the money went to his club, jeez!

Gate receipts were always split 50/50 on FA Cup games at this stage after the home side had deducted their expenses - at least that was the way when I worked out these things when Greenwich Borough ground-shared at Princes Park. I can see no reason why this would have changed and as there is no crowd I wonder whether the live stream income would be split as a result?

Steve. I have to agree! I am not usually a critic, but the only link I've seen to stream the game is the one posted by yourself on this thread on Monday. There should be a BIG easily spotted link on the home page of the official website. I wouldn't have a clue how to find the link that you found and I am sure there are many fans like me, but many also don't necessarily visit the PureDFC site either and even if they did, they might still not pick up on your individual post. Neither am I a Twitter fan or user and it is only ever used to pick up on match updates.
It's very frustrating because the club is possibly missing out big time at a very exciting time in not marketing streamed games. DFCTV have done an excellent job on behalf of the club so far, and we need to build on it.

Hi Pete, i owe you an apology. I did post something on here re no link to the stream for Saturdays game but decided to remove it and email the club instead. Looks like it may have done the trick as details appeared soon after (although i didn't get a reply

)
I was having the same "DISCUSSION" last night with highly
respected people
debating how many actually use twitter, social media etc. and believe that any important news should be posted everywhere. I will be letting them know that not as many use these platforms as they and the blinkered twitter brigade believe.

I have said on a number of occasions that any news and information about the club should always be put on the club website first and foremost. As Park Life said not everyone uses social media but most people will have access to the official website.

I believe the FA has decreed that streaming money is split 50-50 between the two clubs.

It's a shame the PPV link doesn't actually work, but at least the required info is there now and you can cut & paste to access it.
