How comes Delano didn't take the penalty again after his previous one, that's 3 penalties we've been awarded so far and we've missed or rather blasted over the bar 2 of them. It's early days but we can't afford to keep missing them.

From info given to me today we made really hard work of it and really we should've taken all 3pts but due to the penalty miss only ended up with one which before kick off I'm sure a lot of people would've taken against Hemel.

Roll on Tuesday against Concord which will be another difficult game with at least 2 very familiar faces, fingers crossed we can keep them out of the game and very quiet as I'm sure at least 1 of them will have a point to prove.

Christ we were dreadful today and didn't we miss Bradders. Hemel missed some good chances first half but second half they seemed content with 0-0. With regard to our penalty the ball seemed to brush the defenders arm, some Refs give them and some don't. From where I was standing Sam-Yorke picked up the ball to take it and was talked out of it by Philpot who then put the penalty kick into Crayford high street. On the bright side we didn't lose and hopefully the boys will put it right Tuesday night.

A dreadful game , they couldn't hit a barn door , so a draw a fair result , we lacked width but at least toughed it out , I just cant believe that our Managers haven't nominated a penalty taker and IF Philpot ignored their instructions for Delano to take pens then I hope he got a [ private] bol......ng ?????

We should have won Ugly at 1-0 and its games like this that can determine Championships !!!!!!!!

As for MOTM , will have to think who was least poor !!!!

After Tuesdays performance, it was a case of "After the lord mayors show" , definitely missed Bradders in the middle ,and Lee was having to work overtime against a very well organised Hemel team, but IMHO no better than Chelmsford were on Tuesday, but having said that, we should of been at least 2 down at HT ,but for a very good save by Deren, and some poor finishing on their part,so to get a point whilst playing so bad is a bonus.

From where i was standing it looked like "Hand To Ball" and the referee was only a few yards away, so Penalty was the probably the right decision, but awful penalty miss just about summed up the day !!!
But as i said after Chelmsford game , we are still a team in transition, so not a bad start to the season.

Hemel started well and looked lively up front but we came back into it but in all honesty not a classic and neither side deserved to win it.

As for the penalty must admit my initial reaction was i didn't think it was but when it's been awarded i don't care who the nominated penalty taker is but let's make sure whoever it is takes the bloody kick. As soon as players start debating it it puts extra pressure on whoever eventually gets to take it.

MOTM for me was between Tom.B and Nobes with Tom just edging it.

Not great today but 7 points from three games is a very good start.

We had a perfect view of the penalty incident; the ball hit the fella on the chest. Justice was done from Hemel's point of view when Philpot blazed over from the spot. That miss pretty much summed up our efforts. To be honest I was pleased with a draw as Hemel caused us more problems then either of Bath or Chelmsford.

On the bright side we secured another clean sheet with the two centre backs and Deren my shortlist for the MOTM.

Tuesday is going to be a tough night so the return of Bradders will be very welcome.

Never a penalty, hit the player in the middle of his chest! And you could sense Philpott was never going to score!!
Dsy takes 2 & scores 2, so a player whose not having a good game takes the ball away from him & blazes over!!!
Thought we were poor yesterday,,,,,,3/4 players don't seem up to the standard required??
