I read somewhere that NLP clubs have 1 vote each and NLN and NLS leagues 4 votes each. How does that work; who decides who does the voting on behalf of our league clubs?

However, that adds up to 32 votes. If the Resolution is a full package including promotion, playoffs in NLP as well as our leagues, then Barrow and the next 6 would presumably vote for it (to avoid a null and voiding) and the NLN and NLS would surely vote fully, making 15 votes for. Then it only needs 2 more from the NLP clubs unaffected by play-offs and relegation to swing it.

Wishful thinking? When will we know?

I’m led to believe the NLS elected representative will canvas the clubs and if there was a unanimous opinion he would tell the NL that is 4 votes from the NLS, if it was 50/50 that would 2 votes one way and 2 the other way, if it is 51/49 I presume that is 4 votes

With 6 NLP clubs play off places and 5 likely to vote in favour (exception perhaps Boreham Wood) and apart from the bottom three who would rather void the remaining NLP clubs could vote in favour and that would be enough to reach 17 including the champions of course who have everything to gain. Even if 50% of NLN and NLS vote in favour that would be enough I think.

From the H & W website, training for Step 2 clubs is to be allowed subject the usual (for now) restrictions. There must be 4 clubs prepared to play in the play-offs and agreement must be agreed between clubs regarding organisation and costs. I think it will be Thursday when we find out how the vote has gone. Then after the vote hopefully it will be all be agreed, or will some club(s) come up with another plan.

From my reading around the play off situation on a variety of different forums and Twitter feeds - the management board of the league are basically "hands off" the play offs and are leaving arrangement liabilities and costs to participating clubs.

The way I see it, In terms of 'another plan' the options are:

Closed shop NLP say no relegation - but they will have to convince majority of NLP teams to go ahead with the play offs to L2.
Closed shop NLP say continue to say only one relegation and promote NLS and NLN 'champions'- but they will have to convince majority of NLP teams to go ahead with the play offs to L2.
Closed shop NLP say no relegation and only second place club goes up.

Fingers crossed that the current proposal goes through or we might end up with a longer-winded situation than Brexit. If play-offs do happen then at best, the Darts then have an opportunity to go up and SK can build the appropriate squad or at worst we play Ebbsfl££t next season with a squad SK will be getting ready to win the NLS.

Yes, I think the combination of fixtures means we would be away for all three games. I could be wrong.

If the team in 7th gets to the final and the team in 6th get to the final the team in 6th hosts the final.
Elimination Round - Match A - 5th place vs 6th place
Elimination Round - Match B - 4th place vs 7th Place

Semi Final - 2nd place vs winner of Match A
Semi Final - 3rd place vs winner of Match B

Promotion Final
