Thanks Dave. I think the council helped them along with this one following the terrible treatment they had on stage in the park last summer. The Orchard is a bigger room than Proto usually get but I expect them to fill it and again, would strongly recommend to those with an appreciation of Muse, Killers, Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters etc.

Latest Strongbow ad doing the rounds ont’ telly... Features ‘Rob and Chris’ playing a cover of Human League’s “Together In Electric Dreams” before a gathering in a cosy pub. The venue is none other than Gateshead’s The Schooner, a fine watering hole visited by several Darts fans prior to watching a home win and no away goals in an empty International stadium.

Applied for a job as a reverse psychologist the other day. During the interview, the recruiter asked me "Why do you think you would be suitable for this role?"
"I wouldn't", I answered; "I don't even particularly want the job".
"Great" said the interviewer, "When can you start?"

I saw The Human League when they first started (1978 ish) and they were brilliant. I saw them again when the two screaming banshees joined them and they were about the worst band I've ever seen.

During the war, my Grandad survived mustard gas and pepper spray.
He was a seasoned veteran.
