See, now that was enjoyable Cap. Third Lanark, what's not to enjoy. Beating Celtic and Rangers in the Scottish Cup
And as for your input Llamaman, I have enjoyed that too, much to the dismay of Mikey, I know.
But I needed something to wile away the Summer.
I do have a slight inkling for Raith Rovers mind, it's not all doom and gloom for me North of the border. I just get annoyed at the coverage Celtic get when beating Reykyavik Shape Shifters to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League only to meet a team of our 2nd Division standard and get knocked out.
Gone are the days, and I'm old enough to remember Celtic's win over Inter in the European Cup Final, when they played in Black and White hoops and not Green and White. They had their moments.

An inkling for Raith Rovers, well if you ever bump into former p.m. Gordon Brown you will have something to talk about as he is a Rovers fan.
Got my Tunnocks to celebrate the new name for the Scottish Challenge Cup, taste as good as I remember, but forgot just how much chewing they require, hard work

I myself still like their bottled water. Talisker mainly.
It's been a laugh and an education Llamaman.

I've just become a big fan of Tunnocks Wafers (I'm now enjoying them more than their Tea Cakes). You're right, chewing them is quite hard work - but you should try them when they've been kept in the fridge to stop the chocolate melting in this hot weather :!:

You have my entire admiration. Eating a Tunnock straight from the fridge may be one giant leap for mankind, but it's a step too far for this old boys dodgy mincers, and a real risk of a broken jaw bone. Think I'll leave that to life's risk takers, I suppose they do this kind of dare devil deed to test the limit of mans ( & woman's I'm not chancing severe retribution on that point) abilities.

I would think that given Scotland's health issues they tend to pop them in their mouths and let them soften over the day.

It's been an interesting read over the past weeks on this thread Llamaman. Thanks for that. Very knowledgable comments on the Scottish scene and the non league scene, especially with reference to the disruption to the Welsh scenario and the formation of the Welsh Premier League. I was living near Newport at the time and recall the seasons they were barred from playing their home games in Wales and had to play them in Gloucestershire. Colwyn Bay had similar issues and played over the border, but I can't quite recall where now.

As to the standard of football in Scotland, very interesting that Connors Quay Nomads overturned a 1-2 home defeat of last week to beat Scottish Premier Kilmarnock away 2-0 last night in European competition last night.

I don't think there need be any fears about the standard of Scottish football when Rangers can dump the likes of St. Josephs (Gibraltar) out of the Europa League 10 - 0 on aggregate. Just like the Darts & the NLS championship, save all the wasted and futile effort of the other teams in the competition and give them the trophy now.

What! With the likes of Maccabi Haifa still in it, long way to go. :o
