Without trawling through this thread - has Jamie Day been mentioned? Current Bangladesh manager with eufa qualifications, although another ex Dart? His family are still in the UK so might be in the frame?

Yes, we might as well add Jamie to the list of people being hypothetically considered until Jay Saunders arrives.

I should add that I don't really know this, I'm just taking a punt.

I would think there's more chance of Jamie Day getting the job over Saunders!! With Quinton more chance than the pair of them?
I am also just taking a punt!!

Well, while the wish lists, speculations, and thought processing, keeps the Forun alive, one can only imagine how the Playing Squad are dealing with all this.
We have so many relatively new arrivals this term, also stlill adjusting after the very recent Management change, and although Tony seems to have settled them , they must be uncertain of how things will unfold for them as individuals in the coming weeks.
I suspect that the only truly calm people around these days, are those Dartford Folk who always turn up to watch their Dartford Team, whatever, -who don't read the Newspapers, -or indeed the Forum. ( Life used to be so simple...)

Taking a day off from thinking about who the new manager could be. In Cambridge for a river trip, I'm actually just taking a punt.

The usual one, we are just a load of sheep who should be quiet and not dare bleat an opinion even though the supporters are the life blood of the club...baa baa baa baa

Glad the Humour remains then. :D

I assume some will consider the distraction, and Players concerns while the 'Talking' takes place. On the Pitch is what matters at the moment, and that IS what matters. Obviously, only my own opinion and Point.

An expressed view, is just that. Nowhere was my view posted as more important than others on here.

Park, if that's how you feel, then the Forum is pointless to any discussion. Mike.

I would think the players are interested but doubt they're are losing any sleep over it. It's the supporters who long term it means far more to.
I do agree that on the pitch is what matters most so on that basis we will surely appoint the candidate with the best cv.
Your last comment made me laugh, the irony.

Of course this is only my most humble of humblest opinions.
Park.
