He was invited back for pre-season and he didn't take it up. Does he doubt himself, his fitness or working under the new management? Whatever, he gone.

On his day Duane was a very exciting player but because of injuries and fitness his day didn't come often enough. My favourite moment was Duane leaving an highly paid Ebbsfleet centre back in his wake and scoring in our 2-1 victory over the Fleet, one of their few defeats that season. Good luck to him.

To be fair to Duane he must feel it is unlikely that the managers have room for him in their squad with Andy, Delano, Kudos and Alex already signed. He probably wants to try to win a place elsewhere in the pre-season period, rather than be without a club at the start of the season.

Ive ventured out for the day to Lingfield Park racecourse with my carers. I remember being at the great Arkles gold cup win. A wonderful horse. All organised by DFC i believe
Over and out

Alan Dowson has brought in several quality Conference South players including raiding his old Club [ Hampton] and now Dartford as his quest is to get them immediately back into the National League , there is a video interview with Duane on their web site in which he is very complimentary about Dartford FC and the fans and also says that he is now " flying " , big change from early May when he certainly wasn't flying for the Darts !!

Dowson is gambling cause he cant possibly know IF Duane's serious injury will stop him being the player he was , I believe that Flan/Coyley were 100% right NOT to offer an immediate contract and to wait and see IF pre season confirmed Duane's fitness

However good luck to Duane , he has had a great offer from Woking and I hope he does well in 40 games of the season !!!!
