A great signing for us, he was excellent when on loan to us from Luton but seemed to lose his way afterwards playing for Bromley & then Hungerford.
Fingers crossed he can get his hunger for goal back and has lost the attitude problems he seemed to have got according to various other clubs he's been at.
As mentioned elsewhere I've also got a feeling that Debo could well be out the door with the new strikers signed UNLESS he is 100% fit now with no signs of his long term injury. He needs to start pre season firing on all cylinders and show Coylie & Flans what he can do.
I'd love to see him stay as he always gives 110% when he plays and he loves the club but if not 100% fit then I can only see one way for him.
This strike force is looking very good at the moment, just a few other places to fill then we could well be in for a very interesting season. I'd like to think we would get a back up keeper in case Deren gets injured unless the management are relying on Andy Young to cover if required.

I think Kudus might be played as a wide man / winger so maybe there is still room for DOA in the squad

Potentially a great signing IF the Alex Wall of 1st time around can produce the same again , lets hope so cause a strike force choice of him , DSY , DOA and Pugh with Kudas as an alternative could just put the " fear of God " into Conference South defenders !!
Andy Pugh is probably smiling cause he could enjoy a good goalscoring season of the back of a big striker , we know Duane has a great attitude so I guess he will be using the summer months to get really fit to earn the contract we all hope he gets as he would then be a great asset !!!!!!!!
With the signings so far Flan/Coyley have done well and the need for Winger[s] is highlighted in their paper interview of today , so great to see they are on the case !!!!!!!!!

When DOA first joined us, he got off to a slow start and took about 7 or 8 games before he really started to impress in that first season. From that point on he was absolutely superb and became a favourite of the fans. Last season he had surgery at the start of the season and we didn't see him at all for ages and when he did finally get back in, he wasn't firing on all cylinders and didn't get to contribute very much to the title campaign. Given those circumstances, you could well understand why the new management might want to be sure that he is fit and well before committing. I'm sure I read somewhere that Duane had been invited back to pre-season so they can take a look at him which seems perfectly reasonable to me, but maybe Duane wouldn't agree. A fully fit DOA would be fantastic but I have an inkling that he'll be on his way. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Return of non-league’s answer to Álvaro Negredo - Alex ‘Wonder’ Wall.
Unless I’m mistaken, I seem to recall a thunderbolt strike at Hyde amongst some other seriously heavyweight goals. Didn’t have his heart at the club before, so hopefully this has changed after a few years out in the insignificant non-DFC wilderness.
Welcome back Alex and here’s to a mouth-watering season.
So far, we’ve got:
GK: Ibrahim; Coxall (?)
DF: Bonner (C); Vint; Driver; Onyemah
MF: Bradbrook; Noble; Kudus; Cue (?)
FW: Wall; Greenhalgh; Pugh; Sam-Yorke
TBC: Ofori-Acheampong; Murphy
I’ve no doubt missed a couple and might have Kudus and Greenhalgh in the wrong positions, but there are no weak links there.

I agree Spike, i would love Duane to stay, he is an excellent striker who always gives 100%, but with his injury problems and the signing of two very similar strikers, i feel the management may have already decided on his future with the club,i so much would love to be proved wrong, but unfortunately there is never any sentiment in football ,and rather than playing "A BIT PART" or becoming a passenger , i think Duane may try his luck elsewhere.
