As regards the game, the Darts definitely deserved the points tonight and disappointed with the Chelmsford performance until later in the game. At least we Darts were back to getting in the first ball challenges and had the majority of the play. Thought our first goal was going to lead to a bigger scoreline, but it didn't happen, although we were back to excellent possession control, knocking it around nicely, even if our final attempts on goal didn't really come to anything. Again, a superb performance across our back line, with Ronnie again immense alongside Tom. I dont think there was a drawn match in tonight's games, so half the league has 3 points and the other half have nil points! So goal difference will see us around the halfway point. Off the mark. Well played Darts.

Just read the digital programme for last night's game - and very good it was. Well done DFC.

I will give it another go after the 1st half debacle with streaming.
The 2nd half streaming was good so I will put the 1st half down to teething troubles
As for the game it was pretty dull with both teams cancelling each other out
but it is 3 points against often difficult opposition.

I only managed to see about 10 minutes with the streaming problems, but thanks to Hayley on Twitter I did manage to see a bit more "long distance" action.

From what I did see, I probably didn't miss much anyway! Not a pretty performance but a well ground out result. Onwards and upwards!!!

Hopefully everything has now been sorted so will definitely give it another go.

As for the game, i have absolutely no idea how the first half went, second half was a bit of a non event with hardly any chances either end.
However on the positive side three very valuable points, the defence did well again and we are unbeaten in the league ;)

My vote for 1/2 MOTM is between Bonner, Vint and Braham-Barrett, will have a little think on it.

Well done to the lads, pleased with the result against a club i do not particularly like.
This is now how I feel, I did not feel this way during the first half

I get that it was a poor show of which the commentary team seemed totally unaware of. I can see numbers dropping off unless it gets sorted.
Thanks to Pete for actually commenting on the match. As my first half was a disaster the second was quite good, only minor freezes. But I did get the gist of the game overall. It does seem the quality varied. I saw enough to make comments on it (see earlier). Barnham-Bobb got my MOTM for getting down the right hand side on occasions, and again Husin was trying hard in midfield.
I know that SK made his comments post Slough Town, which differed a lot to mine. I'd be interested to see what he has to say re last night.
Again, I thought we were poor. We dominated in a half arsed way and Happy Chappy's post on @ A win against a team that will be challenging us for the title' is way off the mark. Chelmsford were crap. I bet they wish they had Stringer back in charge. At least he had teams with fight.
What I don't like about our game is all these little flicks for one pass too many. All very pretty But! For all the domination last night we were pretty shoddy. What happened to the football of last season that not only got us out of trouble but also into the play-offs? I haven't seen it yet.
Need to up our game and be more direct because we're heading for a walloping. Hampton will be no push over but I bet they give better streaming.
Come on you Darts, stick some of these chances away, don't feck about.

Sorry, an unfortunate term used re Stringers teams. It was normally him with the fight.

Glad we got the 3pts against what was a poor Chelmsford side , we will need to up our game when we play the decent sides . like most only saw max 50%% of the game but it reminded me of pre Steve King when long aimless balls were being played to the front [ only Romain on this occasion] which were quickly gobbled up and sent back to us plus nothing creative from midfield to give the sole striker any chance of scoring
Last season Steve King had the team playing the best quality football I have seen at the Darts but the last 2 games have been unrecognisable from that !
