First of all i hope Sam Blackman is ok, he's done really well pre season so i hope it's not as bad as it looked.

As for the game, first half we knocked it about OK but didn't crate much but Jordan took his goal well with a good header.

The first half finished on a real downer with Sam's injury and we needed a lift and thankfully we got it as we made several changes second half and normally this disrupts things but we got better and played some good stuff and scored a couple of decent goals.
The young lads did themselves no harm whatsoever and special mention to Cameron Brodie who has played well all pre season.

Steve Tervet has reported that Sam has gone to hospital with the Darts medical ream believing he has an ankle injury.

I thought we played well especially in the second half and scored 3 good goals a wonderful shot into the top corner by the youngster. We can only hope Sam Blackmans injury is not as bad as it looked last night. I seem to recall Elliot Bradbrook being carried off a few seasons ago with what looked a bad injury but happily he was quickly back, lets hope its the same for Sam.

So an update says that Sam has broken his leg which requires surgery. Wish him all the best in his recovery and hopefully he’ll be back sooner rather than later.

I see from press reports that the club is interested in signing Norman Wabo. Unfortunately he impressed Gillingham enough when he played in the friendly against them to be asked to train with them!
