I'm told that in TBs very first season as a DFC manager he actually finished 10th. I stand to be corrected. So apologies if wrong can someone confirm either way at all ?

There's nothing wrong with either type of loyalty, but we each have to go with our hearts. I just don't believe that our current managers are up to the job and if they are still here next season I think it will end very badly for them and us. Morale in the squad is very low and I'm expecting many departures. Some people are talking about retaining loan players without seeming to understand that they are not ours to keep. Wynter and McQueen are both good players but even if their clubs are willing to release them, they would effectively be completely new signings that would need to be negotiated from scratch. I'm not sure these players would even want to come here if we can afford them. Please let's not hear anymore talk of how it takes time to rebuild. That argument only works if you have started rebuilding and we haven't even laid a brick. WE HAVE MADE ZERO PROGRESS IN TERMS OF REBUILDING!

Flanners and Coyley seem like nice guys, but I do genuinely believe it would be in everyone's best interests if they walked away.
Sorry Spike, I did mean they are players I would like to see as Dartford Players Next season but I know deep down its not going to happen because of money and that they have clubs etc,
As for the Managers for the club to give them time and let them stay they have got to have total faith that they can do it and not let them blow the budget then sack them a few months into the season, If they stay I support them and really hope they can get it right (personally I think one manager is the way to go not a joint effort) but if the board do not have total faith they can do it then they must look at someone new.

Technically, we are both wrong as we finished 8th on goal difference to Maidenhead.

I think most people know deep down why Alex was let go but this was back in August so why bring it up now, there is no gurantee he would have scored so many goals for us, To the managers credit they found someone in Roberts and before he went AWOL i feel sure we would have made the play-offs maybe even third and in my opinion they made the right decision in not having him back.

@arthur horsfield, you are seeing vitriol thst doesn't exist. I've seen none. There has been anger about the way the season panned out, and requests for a change of manager, but very little vitriol. Sadly, I'd exclude you from that. In your defence of tge current managers, you seem to have set yourself up as sole arbiter of who is worthy to be a Darts fan and who isn't. You also confuse club with management. No one should be greater than the club, and the board should be looking at that as we have space to prepare for next season
As they appointed these two, I worry the general malaise will continue, aided by you explaining if we would just talk to them, a 6-0 loss at Eastbourne will be put into perspective.
I respect you have a viewpoint, but resent your view that those who disagree are not worthy to support the club. Other people care too. They just look to improve, not stagnate.

Ok i give up its frigging stupid. Have your way the lot of you. Sack them. All you judges. I will say no more but please do me one favour. If they are kept on and do well shall we say. Please do not simply write oh they've made me eat my words. They proved me wrong. I was wrong to say this say that. Everyone of you sharpened those knives early in the season. But then when things were going right you put them back in the drawer. Only to bring them out again only after a trip down Wilkinsons to buy a few more. So go then have your way sack them . Tell them they are useless and then you all have what you want. Good luck but it's not from me

And sorry Ken shabby you have a hidden slag against me there for supporting them. Don't say you don't. If you believe that I am the sole supporter of them then i am proud of that. Steve Dave Tony I hope you support your decision originally and stand by these lads

After years fighting the threat of relegation and quite close to extinction.

This season was off the back of one of the most successful seasons in the club’s history.

I read this about getting someone in with no links to the club. Why? I don’t care whether a manager has links or not as long as they are the right person to get us competitive again by correct player recruitment and good coaching.

I hope there is a manager change and now the board have learned a lesson in recruitment themselves (after all they haven’t been burdened with this task for many years before) I hope they will be much more selective and carefully choose a better fit for the club and our circumstances.

Why stop there. Call for Steve Dave and Tony to step down. After all it was there decision to employ the lads. Isnt that gross negligence. Think it's all become a disgrace

I trust our board, they are DFC fans and we have come a long way under their guidance.
I think that our joint managers will continue but that is pure guesswork.
If they do stay then I hope that there is an overhaul of our squad because we simply weren't good enough imo.
