Ajaxman DFC wrote:It's very frustrating to see a club like Concord Rangers with their tin pot ground and 200-300 attendances occupying a play-off spot with two games to go. And that's with a 3 point deduction too. They also snapped up a very good striker in Alex Wall who wanted regular first team football and has scored the goals to get them where they are. And what sort of club at this level would be daft enough not to put him down as the first name on the team sheet. No need to answer that one!
If the Billericay fans start chanting, "Your grounds too big for you", tomorrow, I will find it hard to disagree with them.
Yep, it's Bank Holiday Monday and Zippo's Circus will be in town where I'm sure there'll be no shortage of clowns on display.
Perhaps they have better income streams than us and perhaps the manager can spot a player who can do well at this level without having to pay top wages.
Perhaps they play a system which the players know and understand and are not confused by it.

Very sad day, first time I've seen a Dartford team surrender. I know some of our players are playing on injuries and some are simply not good enough and Eastbourne were "up for it" but when they scored their first goal I suspect we all knew we were going to take a bloody good hiding from a side who hadn't won for 14 games. Its easy to blame certain players but some inspirational management might not go amiss. I thought the Dartford faithful took it on the chin and no doubt copious amounts of alcohol did ease our pain. I just hope we can avoid another humiliation against Bill & Ricky on Monday.

Board needs a change NOW
I don’t post on here much now because I got bored with some posters on here
Not reading posts properly and having a balanced view
I just hope there is a change over the summer
And I for one want TB back in
Just my humble opinion
Palacedart I agree TB should never gone, I will wait for the haters to hate me!

Giles let me put this in perspective.
I wanted a change of manager. I wanted a different set of eyes, coaches, tactics, voices and faces.
I wanted to be ambitious within our means and we could of.
This system is not any of that really. It’s not change.

I’d of preferred TB to of stayed rather than what we’re doing now with TB still in the background.

The only thing I’d praise Coyle and Flan for is they tried to play then ball on the deck more this season even if yesterday was a lot of aimless hoofball.

So when people go in about wanting TB out and now this is what we’ve got, this is not what people wanted. Some people wanted change, this is not change.
I’d rather TB was there and I’m sure if he was there would be no players giving less than 100% as he would not allow it once. All his teams gave everything all the time.

Don't think that I have ever gone to a game at PP with so much
Doubt and lack of belief. Billericay must be rubbing their hands
What a sad end to the season.
Our board will no doubt back our management team although imo
We need a manager who is not one of the old boy network!
A clearout of these under performing players is an absolute must.If we continue with this shambolic squad then the Ryman league is a
Certainty in 2020/21.

Taxi for the managers please, surely, there cannot be a way back from this. Its time for someone outside to come in, even if it my son's old maths teacher Chris Kinnear. Sorry, but just looking at Flanners report has really annoyed me, he is just shifting the blame and trying to save his own @rse.

Part of me feels piss*d at them as even on the side I want to see the frustration and anger sometimes with the players on the pitch but they don’t they stand, chat, bark out a few things, praise the simplest of passes and don’t bollock, yet in the media they’re critical. Why don’t they bark a bit more to those on the pitch who they say don’t give 100%. It’s soft.

Then I feel sorry for them as I know it will be hitting them.

They may not be up to the task, they may need to move on now but they were appointed and they were never going to turn the opportunity down.

I hope they drop every player they say isn’t giving all for Monday and play anyone else.
Give 100% and the fans will always forgive you for anything else.
If they continue to pick players they say are not bothered then they haven’t got a clue and need to go before the next game.
This is how serious it is.

Arty, I don't have to explain to you why I am not going on Monday although if you were to read other posts on here it would seem quite evident.
I do not need a chap like you, that seems to go round and round in circles like a needle stuck in a groove, to say to me I needn't come anymore.
You have had your rant.
Elliot Bradbrook does not need me there on Monday for him to know what he means to this club. I have posted what my feelings are towards the guy. I am not going on Monday because it is the first time in 50+ years that I have seen a Dartford side just 'roll over' as they have done. In the space of 6 games, Lurching from dropped points to absolute debacle at Eastbourne
Now whether that is because of the Board getting the wrong management team, something wrong in the dressing room, players going awol, wrong this, wrong that, is by and by to me. But do not tell me 'not to bother'. I am bothered.
I do not need some sangria soaked 'person' telling me that.

Ozy stop making yourself look silly.
I have done nothing wrong. I have tried to lighten up the forum yet was criticised. I have supported the managers at times when it was difficult to do but i was wrong. I have simply tried to send news both on this platform and Twitter at the joy of the under 15s and under 16s representing our great club. Now if You or any other person think thats bad i couldn't give a feck. Now leave me alone and go back criticising its your right but go away. I am gutted as much as anyone. I'm hearing rumours and things which are probably just that but i dont care about your views. I love DFC and will always. We must now after a night where I was totally despondent with the score stand both United and together. It's not the end of the world. I have just been privileged to watch the kids win a tournament in Spain singing and dancing were the black and white army. The under 16s are a Brilliant team and remember that word team for a few moments. But i fully expected the 16s to do well as they are good but the under 15s surpassed themselves doing greater than anyone expected. As fans we should now remain as a team, remember that word ozy. Do whatever you want that's your prerogative of course but to say your holidays are starting earlier then who cares take 52 weeks a year holiday from DFc

I don’t say much these days as I see no point in posting and don’t wish to enter into pointless arguments with fans
I usually don’t miss a home game and get to two or three away games but this season due to illness I have only seen about a dozen home games. I felt the only time we were watchable and getting somewhere was when McQueen , Sherringham and Roberts were all fit and available. The rest of the season has been total rubbish
What is the answer , we are in free fall and something has to be done. There is a big problem at the core of the club
I have met Tony and Steve fleetingly in the past and they are both thoroughly nice people and dedicated to the club but there is a big but
The club belongs to the fans and not to individuals , my big problem is that Tony (i think and sorry if I am wrong) is still being paid a full time salary and of course we have two managers earning a salary each. This money is a big chunk of the budget.is it really necessary , do we need two managers and an expert in the background advising to run a part time club
As for the Board i think they have gone as far as the can, we need new blood with new ideas. Our attendances are about 1100 and should be closer to 1500 this should be the priority of the Board to get the fans in the ground
At this rate if there is no change i really fear for next season , the Board should be man enough to admit it has all gone wrong, seek their own successors and get rid of Tony and both managers and ask people to apply for the managers job and choose someone with a track record of success at this level or a young hungry man that has knowledge of the game
Maybe Tony can be the unpaid Chairman , of course if he wants a salary there will be a queue of clubs prepared to take him on
Sorry if i upset people but this is a serious matter and we are drifting into mediocrity, last season we should have won the league and this season anything less than third is a disaster and we will not even make the playoffs (7th wow) think about it
The fans in the ground have been remarkably supportive and deserve better than this
