We could be a matter of just 3 matches away from reaching our start of season Goal.

To be honest Reg, given who was in charge at the time, my "start of season goal" was to avoid relegation.

I wonder what players we have available to play,can we use the players that were on loan to us.

I doubt if they can, we are in what would have been the closed season now?
Who knows what will happen?
A statement from the club would be nice, but i assume they are waiting on further instructions/dates from the league/FA whoever!!

I think a lot of it might come down to FA guidance. Has the transfer window closed? Will there be an opportunity, if it has, to reopen it for a brief spell? If players have committed to other clubs, what does that mean in the context of this season etc?

I know it's a challenging time for everyone, but it feels like the clubs have been let down by a lack of guidance from above, be it the National League or the FA themselves.

Although I wasn't bothered if the play-offs took place or not, now that the go-ahead has been given hopefully they go ahead as soon as it is safe to do so and clubs can prepare for next season. Also that all clubs accept the outcome and there is no talk of lawyers. The situation in Scotland has turned nasty after Hearts and Partick Thistle took legal action to canncel their relegation. The clubs who won their divisions and would not be promoted if they are successful are threatening to counter sue, and there is talk of clubs being so upset with the pair that they should be voted out of the league system and replaced with the Highland and Lowland League Championships. The new season could be delayed even more adding to the £10 million Hearts and Partick are claiming and the £5 million tv rights rebate. Some of the smaller clubs are even considering moth balling themselves for 20/21 and starting again in August '21 if the situation isn't soon decided as a cheaper option than all the uncertainly. Hopefully all the Vanarama clubs can sort any problems out between themselves and keep good relations, even those who end up being disappointed.

There are clubs well below us who are feeling well irked too, South Shields and Jersey Bulls to name but two. Well out of sight in their respective leagues as regards being promoted. They must be gutted. It does seem with Hearts that it's just sour grapes.
