I think he'll be a good addition to the squad, always used to be a good strong, physical striker.
Let's hope he still knows where the goal is.

Welcome to DFC Delano.

If you asked this question a couple of seasons back I would be happy. Not so sure now, his goals have dried up and appears to be on the slide. Would have prefered someone on the up. So far the signings have been predictable and we have still not addressed Ryan's replacement, I guess that will be impossible.

I'm pretty sure TB triied to sign Sam not so long ago and he normally got things right so I'm pleased to have him on board.
Welcome Sam.

Well, it got me interested when I saw this. At least the lads are trying their hardest to get some quality in. Sam-Yorke may have been good two seasons ago and maybe a new challenge will do him good.
Out of interest Arthur. We all know you were around for the 1947-48 season so you must be long in the tooth. But is that a reason to be 'ready for bed' at 19.39 hours? It's still daylight.

Pleased that we've signed Dwight Yorke. We need more firepower up front :)

Arthur Here,
I simply get tired early nowadays. I'm hoping the new signing is as good as Freddie Barnett. Now he was a damn good player.
Good work from the new management chaps I'd say
Over and out

I suppose you could make out a case for saying that any player signed from a higher league is "on the slide."

I saw Delano quite a lot at Lincoln, first on loan, then on contract. He was a strong, hard-working forward, who scored some very good goals. He was not, however, a prolific scorer, in that way being much like Duane. He could be very useful at this level and will certainly provide a contrast to the much shorter strikers we already have.

Delano York has been around but he has played for some good teams ,we will have a very experienced striker and hopefully it will work out well for DFC.and DSY as well.
