As said Chris Dickson was always a thorn in our side when he played against us. When I read we'd signed him I thought he could do a job for us. I don't know how old he is (33/34?) but he still knows where the goal is.
5th, I don't know if I read it right but Jacob getting himself sent off soon after he came on? Don't know who the No8 was for the first 80 minutes then? Was he unlucky to be sent off Spike? At first I thought he was but then the ref seemed to be nearer than a lot of us. If the club appeals then so be it, we will wait and see. But if the ref got it wrong then shame on their player who was quickly up after a card was shown and Jacob hardly seems that type of player.
Ethan did very well to tip over the shot before half-time not knowing there was an offside. But to be honest, he didn't have a lot to do. A good all round performance but really need to be more ruthless as regards scoring opportunities. Hopefully having Chris Dickson alongside Jack may be the answer but perm any two from, How many strikers?
Quick here comes PL, lennylenny, SI-T.

Nothing to add to whats been generally said but Eliot Romain [ who I accept always puts a great shift in] could do worse than get a copy of todays match and just watch how Chris Dickson slips into goalscoring positions in front of goal with the end effect[ 2 goals] , Dickson spent virtually no time on either wing where it is impossible to score [ predator ] goals
My MOTM Chris Dickson , proves he is still a predator , just what we needed !!
The live streaming has made watching the Darts possible so I am grateful to the guys who do the work , without them Saturday would be boring !!!!!!!!
Duke do you think that’s where king wants Elliot. Kingy would let him know if it wasn’t surely?

I seem to be in a minority but I think we played ok. Parts could be better of course but I think it was a professional job. I was confident we would score second half and read all the comments on the first half but we missed quite a few chances with poor shooting and crossing so we were not that bad.
We were by far the batter side and for me Tom B is on another level the defence were brilliantly organised and won almost all thier battles. Brilliant captain and leader and lucky to have him.

Kentc = Presumably Eliot is playing to instructions but IF SO then they were different to what Dicksons did and I know what is more effective !!!!!!!!!

Different roles Duke. I’m not saying it’s right but not everyone has the same role as each other all the time. Pretty sure anyone who doesn’t do what king wants he lets them know very quickly and puts it right. I don’t know if this is the case or not only king knows what he is wanting individually.
And yes Dickson was more effective.
I’m not defending Elliot but you don’t know what’s been asked of him and what spaces to occupy

Fair enough. Definitely one or two though
