the futures white wrote: Sun Sep 01, 2019 10:38 am I heard from two separate sources at yesterday's match that for financial reasons the managers have been told to get 4 players off the books which could be the main reason for Warner-Eley (shocking decision IMO) and Nasha leaving and possibly Pugh being shipped over to Essex. I can only assume that these players were not on long term contracts which made it easier to move them on. If the stories are true I wonder who will be the fourth player to depart?.

For the second Saturday in a row we were the better team in the second half. Perhaps we should put the kick off's back to 4pm!.

You can see Cunnington's frustration at the lack of support around him. Balls are continually pumped up to him at head height which if he wins the header it is of little use when their is nobody within 30 yards of him. The players around him should be around 10-15 yards away to have any chance of something happening with the flick on's. Adam is constantly asking for balls to come to him chest height so that he can control them and feed the ball to others.

.......and by the way Peroni is overrated, overpriced piss water. Speak to any Italian and they will tell you that Peroni is Italy's equivalent of Foster's or Carling!.
IF TRUE, i think its worrying that a club likes ours has to get rid of players in this league for financial reasons.
IF TRUE, there is zero chance of us even making the play offs.
IF TRUE, the best we hope for is mid table mediocrity.

Still doesn't explain to me why you get rid of your only left back having just signed the boy ?

Just saying...and that Harry Kane is some cheating son of a bitch is he not ?

Good post Rambo. I don’t think anyone within DFC wants JCAF to fail, but the Cunnington issue is painfully obvious. Coyle has a history of bad mistakes such as leaving Pavey on the bench in his Welling side and shipping out Alex Wall the week before last season started (sorry if that was Flanagan’s decision, it’s difficult to tell).
At least the two guys can be credited with good substitutions ahead of the goal, like Braintree last Saturday. Difficult to appraise fully when the starting XI was patently incorrect however.
Tonbridge will be interesting.

Speculation, guessing and assumption. Some describing words to the statements made. Having played the teams currently filling 1st 2nd and 3rd yes the 123 in the league standings along with Weymouth in 7th and our nemesis in Chelmsford we are where we are. Yes under TB we missed out on winning the league by goal difference. But I totally 100 per cent and sincerely believe this league given its corruptive wage payment scheme is miles more tougher than previous seasons. Whilst I did agree with the view we should be doing better upon reflection why should I? And why should we. Because of our history. Because of the Ernie, Glen, Peter and other fellows years. That's nonsense we have no divine right to think we should be amongst the elite through history. Anyone who thinks because of the past should take a reality check. So back to the current season. It is irrational to judge until every team has played each other. I.e after 21 games. Thats rationale. No one will of course because they think they are better. But seriously what is the alternative. Sack the managers, get another ? He or she fails. Sack him or her. He or she fails. Sack him or her are you starting to get it. Its nonsense. Yes I am disappointed with our current league placing but as I said earlier having played the TOP 3 etc we should maybe take a chill pill and start to support the club and management greater than we are at the moment

Our last 21 league games - Won 5 Drew 7 and lost 9.

Double that up and it gives you a seasons total of 44 Pts.
Last season that would have got you to 18th place, two above the relegation zone, that's not rationale that's fact.

If you leave it alone for a few days so will i ;) ;)

This pretty much sums it up. You can’t deny facts! We are a team going nowhere, except downhill. Fast. Please fix it Board. I admire Arthur’s healthy optimism and rallying calls but it’s now falling on deaf ears here.

Parky, you cant apply that equation as you have. It doesn't make sense whatsoever. I thought everyone agreed at the beginning of this season to draw a line under last season but no people wont it's crazy. Anyway we shall have our daily dartford later today where I will put you right. 😉 And sorry Mikey this Alex wall thing. If everyone is fed up with Artys optimism then surely everyone is fed up much more with the Alex Wall history. Did anyone notice he was on the pitch Saturday by the way , apart from a big bloke running about a bit doing nothing.

In the unlikely event of us not winning at Tonbridge even you would find it hard to defend out Managers as there can't be any excuses to lose to a side with about half the budget we have.

If the Dartford of the 1st 70 minutes on saturday turn up at Tonbridge then we will be in trouble.
I live in hope but 8 games in and we have not been very impressive.
We have no divine right to win games but whatever is wrong at the club it needs sorting asap.
