Doswell gets a 3 year deal then, spent a lot this season and didn't do as well as expected so he's done well for himself.
With the last year passing without any real football being played Kingys contract must be up for renewal soon. Hope the club are already in discussions to extend it as the turnaround has been great.

He’s got 1yr left I think hasn’t he, if I remember correctly he signed a 3yr contract.

No surprise there - chickens voting for Christmas with any threat of relegation. Perhaps the FA will overule the decision with enough lobbying.

Must admit I thought the season would continue in some format because rumour is the FL won't relegate anyone if the NL aren't.

The NL will now be playing for absolutely nothing?

You can't blame the FL and why should they when the NL won't relegate any clubs.

A detailed proposal for a combined Step 2 mini-league has been submitted to the FA.

The plan will be considered by the FA Alliance Committee who meet tomorrow.

Any decision would then require ratification from the FA Council.

Hopefully the FA council show some common sense and turn the proposal down.
