Having thought about it, Ronnie was going to get my vote. But having looked at the team I thought maybe Ben stole it. Almost forgot who was playing as most performances were forgettable.
And as for the Luke Warner-Eley debate???? As said, I hope he finds a management who appreciates him.
For this thread to stoop to a debate on the price of Peroni says it all.

Another very poor performance but very grateful for a point in our quest to stay in this division. We were useless until Hayes and wabo came on. Wabo needs to start. When he plays he displays effort energy and will to win and this is infectious on other players. Until he showed movement and passion we were losers.
I feel that i need to talk about cunnington. He is a good player and you can see he wants to win but he is toiling in a bad team and his frustration is showing and to be honest it is embarrassing to see. When he flicks the ball on he is all arms waving at McQueen and wanadio saying why are you so wide i want you closer. He needs to be saying this to Flanagan and Coyle , McQueen and Wanadio are doing what they are told . Once they were both tucked in and cunnington flicked it wide to our right wing and he moaning as to why no one was wide. All i can see is him waving his arms around and what appears to be moaning. He needs to calm down and encourage. You gain credibility by scoring goals when you are a centre forward and at the moment he has none
He is not being helped by the tactics. Why the managers choose to have two players really wide one of which is ot a winger and the other needs a free role is beyond me. Most of the balls he receive are coming long from the centre of the pitch and cunnington insists on flicking them on to nobody . He would be better served knocking them back to midfield players then moving on to receive again or flicking them wide to where the other two forwards are. In short the tactics are all cockeyed
Once wabo comes on and we change almost to a traditional 4 4 2 we look half a team
Basically i want Flanagan and Coyle to succeed but i just cannot see it happening , i have very little confidence in them and want to see them gone. Some will say who do you want in then. For a start i do not want Tony to come back, that era is history and i see no reason to bring him back. For a start i would not want to see him come back fail and ruin his legacy. As far as i know there are two candidates not working who could be approached Hakan Hayrettin and Jeff King
The Board have made a right pigs ear of moving on after Tony and it is up to them to fix it
Does anyone know how many teams get relegated because i am struggling to find clubs who are much poorer than us and i am very worried about relegation

Is it 3 this season or 2, It could be 4. Hakan is at Maidstone Rambo. Far too late to get him, he's seen what's going on here.

I heard from two separate sources at yesterday's match that for financial reasons the managers have been told to get 4 players off the books which could be the main reason for Warner-Eley (shocking decision IMO) and Nasha leaving and possibly Pugh being shipped over to Essex. I can only assume that these players were not on long term contracts which made it easier to move them on. If the stories are true I wonder who will be the fourth player to depart?.
For the second Saturday in a row we were the better team in the second half. Perhaps we should put the kick off's back to 4pm!.
You can see Cunnington's frustration at the lack of support around him. Balls are continually pumped up to him at head height which if he wins the header it is of little use when there is nobody within 30 yards of him. The players around him should be around 10-15 yards away to have any chance of something happening with the flick on's. Adam is constantly asking for balls to come to him chest height so that he can control them and feed the ball to others.
.......and by the way Peroni is overrated, overpriced piss water. Speak to any Italian and they will tell you that Peroni is Italy's equivalent of Foster's or Carling!.

Those looking on from the outside often see it very different from the committed fan, a more rounded picture maybe, seen in isolation to the ongoing situation in a club.. Teams are often not as good/bad as their ardent fans think they are. I expect we have all attended matches as neutrals which we have seen completely different to the followers of the teams involved.Home And Away wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2019 3:05 pm Just looked at non lge paper. A point against a side who will probably be in the play offs.
Lets also not forget that we are only 5 points off a play place.
Its early days don't panic
