Instead of acquiring fresh legs with youngsters who want to give it a go, we sign players with past/iffy serious injury issue's. It's not for me to tell the lads what to do and who to sign, but I sometimes have to wonder. I still feel we need a striker given that we have already got injuries up front.
I see from Disco Stu's summary on our opposition that Eastbourne have now got Lee Bradbury in charge. I don't expect Eastbourne to be struggling this season.

The managers are obviously aware that we need another forward- hence their interest in the player who had been on trial with a EFL club. Presumably that is also why they are still looking at players on trial in that position. The trouble is virtually every club in Kent is looking for a striker, as usual.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

You can listen to the post match interviews for any match in any league and you will always here people saying stuff like we had lots of possession or lots of chances but we didn't stick them away. On another day etc, etc …

In the end it always comes down to finding players who can stick the ball in the net if you want to win trophies.
