Very very strong rumours are saying that Garry Hill will walk away from the Ebbsfleet job when his contract runs out as the assurances he wanted over the playing budget wont be there, and it wasn't a massive budget either he was asking for. I would love to see him come here.

I understand he applied when TB resigned but we couldn’t match his financial expectation either personally or for players wages. He operates in a different league which was why he ended up at Ebbsfleet. Still, that particular bubble maybe on the verge of bursting. We’ll have to wait and see.

At least we haven’t got to go to Poole, Met Police won!

So we’ll play either Met Police or Tonbridge in the league after they face each other in the Super Play Off final on Saturday.

It's Tonbridge Angels as they beat Met Police in extra time.
Pleased with that always a nice away day in Tonbridge, and close !

Into 5 minutes of injury time at Woking, who lead 1 - 0 in front of a crowd of nearly 5,000. It will be back to Welling for Boxing Day, unless its their turn to come to us of course. Or will their be another twist with a late Wings goal?

I've checked the key map on my Kent A to Z.
Dartford to Welling 1 inch
Dartford " Tonbridge 3 inches
" " Maidstone 4 "
Tonbridge to " 2 1/2 inches
So on that scientific basis I suggest Darts v Welling, & M. U. v Tonbridge for the festive period.
Off course we could play silly sods & have the 4 Kent teams against the 4 Essex teams just to mess everybody about.
