I accept we have quite a few injuries at the moment and this may be used as an excuse but not for me, not on that performance. The starting 11 was still all first team squad players that Adam and Jamie have assembled but there was no spirit, fight or togetherness, something just didn't feel right.
Playing Louis in goal at this stage of the season was a massive gamble and i can only assume it was due to Baileys error last week so who plays Monday after Louis error today?
Ronnie Vint wasn't fit last week and all the talk before the game was he wasn't fit this week either so why did we play him, especially as he got subbed at HT?
Joe Healey played as a No. 10, wasn't sure this was his normal position and although i am grateful he has come in and helped out why are Dartford Football Club in a position where we need one of the managers mates to help out? Have we really got that desperate?
Andre Coker up front alongside Joe was never going to work so couldn't understand why we didn't start with Jordan at the back and Murphy up front with Joe alongside Nobes in midfield. IMO tactically we mad another real pigs ear of it.

There were quite a few Dartford supporters there today but sadly the team never gave them anything to cheer about, i can''t recall a single notable effort all game. A total embarrassment today and the previous weeks haven't been much better.

MOTM,i haven't got a bloody clue........
MOTM the fans that traveled to watch that shite!

I don't know what was more sad today, on the drive down seeing a deer in it's death throes straight after colliding with a van or getting to Eastbourne and seeing Dartford FC in it's death throes. I might send in an invoice for wasted fuel and admission to the ground. An absolutely shocking performance. The Management comedy duo have lost the team and the plot with this one. The only thing they haven't lost is the massive cool-box-on-wheels. I presume that keeps the Management pies fresh! I couldn't take any more this afternoon and for the first time ever I left early. What a waste of a sunny afternoon.

I totally agree with Gilesey. A defensive midfielder: Healey and a winger with no experience: Coker was never going to work as a forward line today. Does Sheringham not fancy it? No news on his whereabouts from the club as per usual. We have heard about Roberts who definitely doesn't fancy it. Why couldn't we have recalled Sam-Yorke or Oneyuga to give us a fighting chance? Also if Wells was called up in prefrence to Vose then that is another provocatively poor decision by the management.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear - I was really looking forward to Monday too. I'll still go if only to view the corpse and say farewell to Bradders.

Matt- Charlie's ankle injury HAS been reported by the club, as has Phil Robert's absence. Our on-loan striker, Darren, was injured training with Sutton, his own club. Like you I had assumed that in those circumstances Kudus and/or Delano would be recalled from their loans, or even Dan Derbyshire.

Wouldn't have made any difference today I'm afraid - it was the Club Spirit missing! Not the players.

Ozymandias wrote:There's been a chap found slumped in the streets of Barcelona draped in black and white. Seems incapable of muttering anything that makes sense. Locals would understand if he was clothed in blue and white with that Espanyol crowd across town, but this guy, they say is English and keeps muttering Up the Darts, or words to that effect. And something about 'play-offs, we can still do it'.
But it sounds like we were trounced.
As much as I'd like to say my goodbyes to Elliot on Monday, I think my Summer break has just started early. Still, there's always next season. :(

It really does seem like we are a football club that does not want to go up people will vote with there feet and crowds will dwindle

I must apologise to the person I had a go at this week about being negative it seems he was right. We as fans who watch home and away deserve a explanation on what has happened the last 4 or 5 games and unfortunately the management team are not good enough and we need to bring someone new in it may cost but we cannot afford just to sit and let our club backwards

Arthur Horsfield wrote:Ozymandias you take a shot. So your not going Monday. Don't come on here calling yourself a fan. Supporters support so the best thing I can suggest if you can't be bothered going Monday then don't come back at all.

Arthur I will be there Monday but supporters can support how they choose. You can have all the opinions you wish but there is no criteria and it doesn’t say anywhere you have to attend a game exspecially when we keep getting let down by the very people we pay money to go and play and represent the club and badge we love.

I’ve watched all the results this season and I’m disappointed for the long term darts fans
We stopped going a few seasons ago a few mates and our kids
We felt that the board were letting the fans down
Mr Archer stepped down, no doubt realising the club was growing too big too quickly
But the club sold the fans a dream of league football was possible
Just look how far Luton have gone since we beat them at kenilworth road
And look at the strides Lincoln have made
I know mr Burman is on the board , but I firmly believe the rest of the board didn’t give the money needed to go into that next level
Burman for me was the person to take Dartford into league football
But the board didn’t back him enough
Sorry if that upsets the regulars at PP
But I feel the board have massively let you the fans down

I hope to get Along next season , and for the record I think Tony Burman needs to come back in
And new board members come in
Just my own opinion, that way stay away locals will return
