Glenn Tamplin appointed a new manager Steve Watt at 2pm on Monday. At 5.30pm the same day he sacked him.
The circus continues.

Ah, Duke. Danny Dafter, now he was one of my all time favourites. Loved the guy.

I suspect now that Tamplin has said he's staying at this fine club that we could be in for a shellacking. It's surprising what money can do.

Wasn’t Steve Watt previously at Maidstone with Jay Saunders?

Maybe that's why Tamplin sacked him so quick - for having come from the club his senior officers have defected to?

If we thought the ref (Massey-Ellis, I believe) in the previous match was bad, the ref assigned to this match is Jacob Miles who gave us 4 yellows in the Hemel game.

IMO issuing 4 yellow cards doesn't necessarily make him a bad ref - he'd still have long way to go to beat Massey-Ellis.

I've just been running through the player profiles and it's fair to say that as bonkers as Billericay Town are off the pitch, that doesn't alter the fact that they currently (10:30pm Wed) have surely assembled the best squad of players in the division. Whilst I believe that it is only a matter of time before their club suffers from some sort of catastrophic meltdown, I doubt it is likely to happen before Saturday. Charlie's absence coupled with our team still being very much a "work in progress", surely makes our hosts start as massive favourites. All I ask is that we can continue to show improvement like we did last Saturday, in which case a positive result isn't entirely out of the question. I think it's fair to say we travel in hope rather than expectation, but I take comfort from my belief that our superior quality and class OFF the pitch, will ultimately prove to be much more successful in the long run. It's just a matter of time.

You have echoed pretty well what I said Spike. They may have a clown with the money who obviously has his personal problems, but they still have a good squad.
Let's hope we can defend well and give them a few problems of their own in going forward. Or maybe grab a draw. Anything but a resounding thumping.
