Pat was my best friend and had been suffering underlying health problems. He has supported the Darts for 60+ years and his last game he watched was against St Albans in August 2019.
Pat was on dialysis for the last 2 years and he couldn't get the right slot to go up and watch the games because of his dialysis. When he finally got an early morning slot on match days lockdown happened.

As the Odd Couple we kit sponsored Lee Noble for 5/6 years until this season when we decided to sponsor Jacob Berkeley Agyepong. Unfortunately Pat never got to see him play.

He was a quiet, unassuming chap who wouldn't say boo to a goose. Will be sadly missed by me.
If anyone can tell/contact Terry Pease or Rob Osbon with the news I would appreciate it. :(
Mr Osmosis, I have spoken to Park Life and I must know Pat from his referring days. PL insists I do. He must have done dozens of games I was involved in some way. Has anyone a picture at all, doing my pea sized brain in truth.

Doing my brain in too with all the years of following The Darts and seeing and talking to so many fans, so a picture would be a help to respect his memory as we know the faces but can't always remember the names

My condolences to Pat's family too.
Like Trevor B and others, I cannot put a face to his name, but given his long term sponsorship as a part of the Odd Couple, I'm guessing I do know his face.

RIP Pat

I have no picture but yes, Pat and I both passed our refereeing qualifications down at the Gravesend branch in 1981 I believe. As I Only stuck it for three years and had to give up because of my work Pat went on to do quite a few Dartford League and North Kent Sunday as well as Kent League lines. He ended up doing a lot of kids games and I think he enjoyed them more.
Pat went on to represent the Gravesend branch in Local/county and National Referee Quiz events and Gravesend won almost every year. Pat was very good on the quizzes. I remember he went to Coventry City's ground for the National finals on a few occassions.
Pat and I would often sit out in the corridor with our whisky macs pre match (he didn't like the rowdiness in the bar) I lie. He loved the club.
I am thinking of buying a Brick for the wall at the club. He's already got one but didn't look at it much as it gave him a backache, it's on the bottom row of the first wall and he'd often complain, mostly to me.
I will hope for a more prominent place so he won't be missed.
He was a quiet bloke and he had a great sense of humour. I will miss him. In fact when we got a goal back against Welling I automatically reached for my phone to text him but he'd been gone 24 hours.
You probably did know of him Reggie.

Reg, I am still looking and asking around for a picture of Pat. If I can get one I'm sure everyone will recognise him and remember what a loyal fan and decent guy he was.

I did lie actually. In 1969 there were three of us took off to Alcudia, Majorca for our first holiday abroad. I have photo's of a long gangily streak of p**s in swimming trunks (he would like that ). We were kids enjoying ourselves round the pool/beach/disco. I must admit it is not a photo for children.
But then, you won't see them, they are proper stuck in a photo album.
