Decent start to pre season, loads of trialists too

Game of two halves really. Even with a change of the full 11 we looked to be containing Stones first 11. Poor defending on the equaliser and a good goal from Noor. Essam played okay as did Nobes. Also the trialist at right back played well 2nd half.
Other than that, this shows me why I don't watch friendlies. Let's leave it up to Kingy to get a team starting the season. Good performances from Jacob, Ijaha, and back four. Essam in the second half.

Wealdstone will struggle Big Time, but as said, it was a friendly

I thought the Wealdstone commentators were fair & we should have had a penalty early in the 2nd half?
But after Weymouth nobody probably wants to take them anyway??

I know it's early days but on that showing I think Wealdstone are in for a long season. I think that's their sixth preseason game and we made them look very ordinary. Right back trialist had a very solid game second half. Impressive stuff

Very impressed. We started with a very strong 11, made 11 subs at half-time and yet it made no apparent difference. I honestly don't recall ever having so many quality players in our squad. It's very encouraging.

I enjoyed the game and thought we played some good football- not just with the starting lineup. The player who was on the left of the defence in the second half looked familiar.

A solid performance against a newly promoted team who have been playing a good few weeks now. Kingy is trying to give us all what we want. Firstly stability, secondly a chance for promotion, thereafter entertainment and possibly then we will do this and go up in some form. We are lucky to have this guy, truly lucky. Whatever happens the football he puts before our very eyes is so so good. Forget the minority knockers this guy is the real deal, but you all know that.

Don't pay any attention to performances pre season. It's all about fitness
