Weymouth - Promotion Final - 1pm Saturday
Re: Weymouth - Promotion Final - 1pm Saturday
Doesn't get any better than this. What a turnaround eh. Think we have only played Weymouth once and that may have been when the chuckle bros were at the helm? We will be a completely different proposition Saturday. A huge game but if the team show the commitment they have over the last couple of games we have one hell of a shot at promotion. We have some real quality throughout the side but my fear is The King of Princes Park getting poached by a lower league club, he is a genius. What an appointment by the club. Born is The King of Princes Park.

Excellent coverage and fair commentary of what looked like an end to end game. Both sides looked ropey at the back but it was never a penalty to Weymouth, the initial challenge was outside the box.
Gutting way for Dorking to lose as well with Weymouth’s 3rd goal.

Honestly, how far has this team come and what an amazing Job Steve King has done? I remember being at Tonbridge Angels away back in September and how woeful and awful we were only going one way.... then came the King! If we manage to win on Saturday and get promoted it will be one of the biggest achievements in the clubs history. Whatever the result we can only feel one thing about this team and that's proudness. Lets hope we can finish the job on Saturday..(Just imagine how many we would've taken down there if we was allowed in)
Steve King had a Dream
To build a football team
He brought in a few new players... all on his own.
He's losing his hair.. but we don't careeeeeee
We're Dartford FC and we're on our way back!!!
COME ON YOU DARTS!!!

Looking at Weymouth and their pitch I think it will suit us and our style. When we played them at the beginning of the season, I hate to say it but we were a piss poor side.
Now we have these lads under a decent manager and at the moment nothing looks like stopping us.
Game on. As long as AJ get's his act together. I'm sure he will

Has anyone been able to purchase the streaming pass for the big game, or has it not come online yet?

Interesting reading through the comments on Weymouth's forum during our game with Havant. They were delighted when Havant went down to 10 men in the hope they would be facing a weakened side, due to suspensions, the following week.
Now they are relieved not to be facing Doswell's side at all and are already planning for their trip to Hartlepool next season.
Really?

You can't blame them for preferring a final against us; they'll be at home whereas they'd have been away to Havant. Perhaps those individuals haven't seen the form table! Better that they give it the big 'un though. It sets them up for a bigger embarrassment! I think most have us have been quietly confident going into the playoffs that we could pull off an 'upset', but they don't need to know that haha!Ajaxman DFC wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 11:08 am Interesting reading through the comments on Weymouth's forum during our game with Havant. With our last game at Havant I found it amazing that we had a bench of Hyde, Wanadio, Marsh-Brown, Noble and Sheringham. What's not to like about this squad?
