This is very true M1, but you have to be honest, apart from Luke W-E, the rest in defense are hardly consistent and are at 6 &7's. If you see what I mean.
Three players are showing consistency and that is Luke, Luke A and Adam. Nobes and Darren have had hardly any time to get a run together but have started well in their games.
Agree 100%. I could have written the exact same thing.

Yeah, Luke Allen has done well and if only we had someone who could put in a decent cross Adam would probably have around half a dozen goals by now. Anyone know such a winger?
As for Luke Warney-Eley he has been the surprise package and been our most consistent defender this season. He could turn out to he a very good signing.

The three most consistent performers have been Luke Allen, Adam Cunnington and Luke Warner Eley. Once Nobes has a few more games under his belt then I expect him to boost that list. We need a few more to start performing to the level we know they can.

Arty feels he has to make a point. Sam Blackman. Arthur wants to put this straight. Sam was pivotal in the managers pre season plans. Everyone must build that in and I plead with you to do so. Last year it was total disaster with Andy Pugh injury. Just the same. We are all agreed I believe that in Luke Allen we have a find from the lads. He and Nobes will and are two top quality players. You add Sammy Blackman and whilst it's only my opinion you would/will have 3 quality top drawer players. Add Billy crook another great player. They have been so unlucky with injuries. We have 2 problems. Not scoring enough and conceding loads.

. I laugh because where does the problem exist ? I think with Sam's injury that was terribly bad in relation to the plans. BUT last year we had problems with scoring but had no problems in defence. This year we are shipping goals and particularly away from home. Therein lies the problem. Why to the forum are we now looking so dodgy at the back ?

Yeah that is a bit of a problem, not scoring enough and conceding too many....

4 away to Wealdstone
4 away to Chelmsford
2 away to Hungerford
Ronnie was back in Saturday and we win. Through illness he misses Monday and we drop 2. Dreadful luck. Bosses to blame easy excuse ?

Rocket science No !!! The bosses know it. I think especially away from home. Down to the players I believe to show some Spunk now not fanny. After all this is the club we all follow DFC with a total dedication because it's our home town. Not Charlton, not Millwall Spurs Arsenal etc. but Dartford.

Arty, what is a little concerning is that our two managers were both very good defenders and yet they have, so far, been unable to resolve our defensive frailties. Is it down to tactics, individual errors, lack of commitment...none of these, some of these, all of these? I don’t have an answer but I hope they do because the end of the first ten games is fast approaching and we’re only two steps up from Everest base camp. I’m hoping that Adam and Jamie are our Hillary and Tenzing because I daren’t even contemplate a Titanic analogy.

Skip, lets be simplistic. Forget people, personel whatever. Goals are flooding in. That's the problem
