Just arrived at Princes Park and opted to go inside the ground to watch the Lionessess. Wish I hadn't bothered
Was looking forward to sitting in the sunshine, but because they are filming by the halfway line, Wooden Man side, the stewards are not allowing anyone to stand anywhere on that side of the pitch. It's only 2 blokes with a poxy tripod for God's sake. Bloody jobsworths.
Also the price has doubled. Entrance fee £10. Apparently their former club Millwall are pissed off with them. Good.
Would much rather be watching our girls on the community pitch. Certainly won't be watching this lot at PP again this season.
DFC Women's Team Thread
Re: DFC Women's Team Thread
I dont follow the Lionesses, but the Darts came back from 2-1 down at half-time to beat Ashford Town (Middx) 5-2. Goals from Danielle Harrison (2), Shauni Griffiths, Megs Mansfield (penalty), and Issy Michalski. The Women are back at Princes Park next weekend, when they take on Eastbourne Town.
