Wouldn't it be nice if he sees sense and recognises that another season with us would help his career develop and then perhaps even better offers might just come along.

Jonty don't you agree ;)
I was on impression that it was Chelmsford that put a 7 day approach in for Alfie prior to our cup game at Burgess Hill. Alfie was then offered a contract the following week. If he was to go then I would us to tempt Sam Higgins away fro East Thurrock - it always amazes how they can keep hold of him given his goal scoring records.

Jordon Chedozie may well be scoring freely for Margate but hasn’t when he’s played at this level or higher (Cambridge, us, Braintree & concord)

First time today I noticed that Brian Greenhalgh had signed. Could have done with him last season. Maybe a season too late.

Now your showing your age. Brian Greenhalgh was a great player in the 1970,s but he may be a little past it now.

Remember him well John. Is it not a Brian we've signed then? In fact, when did we sign him? Is he not the ex-Maidstone player?

Yes he played for Maidstone and his name is Ben. Looks a bit of an enigma. Signed a professional contract with Inter Milan at 17 but has had more clubs than Tiger Woods going via Stenhousemuir and Inverness to Canvey Island. Supporter of one club that he played for described him as talented but loses interest. We shall see

Seems like Greenhalgh is an attacking midfielder. I'm looking forward to seeing the ex Inter Milan Striker play for us next season

Looking at Woking's forum, they are of course rebuilding under their new Management team who they nicked from Hampton & R they seem to be expecting to sign a further 7 players to join Nathan Collier. One of their posters seems confident a German Goalkeeper called Herbert Schottel will be among them.
