For what Elliot has contributed over the years as a player and captain i think he is the best we have ever had at the club.
The word legend is too easily used these days but in Elliot's case it is truly justified for what he has done for the club both on and off the field, i doubt we will ever get anyone like him again.
Thanks for everything Elliot.

Elliott Bradbrook you are a true leader both on & off the pitch and one of the greatest captains I’ve seen in all my years of following DFC.
The goals you have scored and contributed to over the years have been phonominal and this is why you will always be up near the top of the DFC legends list.
Enjoy your retirement mate & the quality time you’ll now get to spend with your young family, you deserve it.
Thank You for some great times Captain Marvel.

What an absolutely fantastic servant to the club - Elliot will be sorely missed but the best thing is that he will leave a plethora of memories for those of us who have seen him play his heart out for the club over such a long time. One of my fondest memories will be of having been there to witness his hat-trick at Weston - this summed up the man. He never gives up, wears his heart on the sleeve for the cause and is such a talented footballer and more than that a great leader.
Enjoy your retirement Captain Marvel. It has been an absolute pleasure to follow you and the team over the years!

The comments on this thread reflect how highly Elliot is regarded by the supporters. When you look back over the years at the MOTM and POTS votes, it's amazing that Elliot didn't win more often. He's admired and respected by 100% of the fans, he's a great leader, a great captain, a great player, an excellent ambassador for our club and for a midfield player, his goal-scoring record is simply astonishing. He is also a thoroughly decent bloke. I think we sometimes just took him for granted and maybe held him to a higher plane. Unless we can sneak back into 5th place (and assuming he's recovered from last week's injury), Monday will be our last chance to see him play a competitive game at Princes Park. So for the second year in a row a DFC legend departs our club. It truly is the end of an era.

I have nothing but respect for Elliot Bradbrook. He has been the ultimate professional for Dartford FC and the finest captain. His drive, commitment and versatility will be virtually impossible to replace; wherever he has played on the pitch, he has led by example and pushed the team to better results. I do not envy the managers of the task to find a midfielder worth 15-20 goals per season with the same black and white heart.
If injury has cut his season short, I hope that many people like myself, who do not usually go to pre-season matches, will attend his testimonial to show just how much he has meant to the club and to the supporters.
COYD!

Elliot leaving is for me hard to put into words. As said by someone else the word legend is banded about too easily. A truly brilliant player, captain and leader. I think the year we came 2nd and won the playoff we would of possibly won the league if he didn’t get that end of year injury that took him into new year. I believe he also missed the Woking away game what was crucial, at a time where he could of well been the best player in the division. Scoring crucial goals at crucial times and on top form.
I think I’ve got my facts right here.
I don’t know the man but hopefully one day I can shake his hand and wish him all the best in his future and thank him for everything he’s done for the club, the brilliant memories and his appreciation of the supporters who adore him.
Thanks Elliot you will be massively, massively missed.

Most of the tributes already posted cover just how brilliantly has been the effort enthusiasm and encouragement that Bradders has put into this team over the years.
The number of goals he has scored from midfield to win us games or get the team back on terms is incredible and along with his captaincy will show just how he will be missed at seasons end when we will need to find someone else to fill his boots and help get us out of the current mess ready for the new season.
