The win we were all hoping for delivered! So happy with that and SK is doing a great job so far, strengthening the squad immediately where it was needed and playing with good tactics.

We have a mini break now before the massive Kent derby against our least favourite club.

Another enjoyable game and three more important points.
Lots of positives and you can see how SK is trying to change things and so far it's looking promising.
First half we played well and moved the ball around nicely with Romain and Marsh-Brown a constant threat.
Second half Hampton put us under some pressure but we held firm and defended well.
Quite a few contenders for MOTM but for me Romain gets it, constant threat first half and worked tirelessly second half.

Only disappointing thing for me at the moment is some of the comments on social media, it would be nice if some people grew up, shut up or preferably both. Contrary to what some may think this is not a football club for a group of mates to just come along and have a game together.

Like Park Life, I am a little disappointed by some of the players/ ex-players reaction to our new manager. This club doesn't exist just so a few mates can get together at the weekend and have a bit of fun. If that's what you want then go and play for the Dog & Duck. The club was punching below its weight and a new man has been brought in to fix that. The players are quick enough to have a pop when the supporters aren't all pulling in the same direction and all this "together, stronger" stuff is great, but they need to remember that it applies to them too.

Anyway, on with the important stuff. The first 45 minutes were incredibly exciting and Darts were electric going forward with such pace. Marsh-Brown was phenomenal and produced some of the most amazing wizardry out on the left flank. The lad appears to have everything. Pace, skill and despite his slight appearance, he gets stuck in and even won a lot in the air. In fact this was one of the best halves of football I've seen from someone making his first start in a Dartford shirt. Along with Elliott Romain, these two were absolutely outstanding and it was fitting that they got the goals that gave us a 2-1 lead at the break. The ref's decision to book Marsh-Brown for simulation after the lad lost his balance and fell over was so ridiculous that even the Hampton fans were giving the ref stick about the decision.

Hampton came back at us strongly in the second half and we had to absorb a lot of pressure, but at the same time we always looked dangerous on the break. It was exciting to see a Dartford side play with so much pace in the side. This is a very different style of play for us but I have to say, I really enjoyed tonight's game, it was a pleasure to watch. It was a terrific performance from our lads against decent opponents who played their part. Despite the blistering first half performance by Marsh-Brown, my MOTM has to be Elliott Romaine who was awesome for the entire 90 minutes and never stopped working. Well done guys, well done Steve King.

Great result against the form team and I was impressed with the quick post match interview by SK. Can't recall previous managers doing this, well done to those involved, a little communication goes a long way.
