Very surprised there are only 3 teams with max points after only two games, Woking, HH and the Darts, and even less after Saturday's games when it could be no teams at all, if Woking draw or lose and our game was drawn. Not that I expect that scenario to happen.

Hopefully it will be just us with 3 wins from 3 after this weekend.

The preview for the game is now available www.puredfc.com

Let's hope for another performance like Tuesday. Solid defence and a couple of goals.

First game of the season for me, determined to make more than 6 this time! Hopefully a nice comfortable win, 3 from 3 will be good knowing there are a few tricky teams in this league.

If Kudus plays it will be very interesting to see who makes way. Perhaps he will start on the bench anyway if there is the slightest doubt about his fitness. Rumour has it that there will be a significant absentee from midfield, so at least one change necessary.

Pre-match entertainment on the tv, forget Newcastle v Spurs, the BBC are showing Haverhill Rovers v Haverhill Borough in the extra preliminary round of the F A Cup 12-30pm k.o. They are going to show a match from each qualifying round on the BBCiplayer & football website. They did the same last season & it was interesting to take a look at a few different teams & grounds especially in the early rounds. I expect the streets of Haverhill will be deserted around lunch time & that strict segregation will be in place at the ground.
Back to the main business of the day, good luck to the Darts this afternoon and here's hoping for another good result & another entertaining game,
