Brilliant. Well done to those that went - you were justly rewarded. Having missed all our league victories this season and the Billericay game at the end of last, I haven’t seen us win a league match since Phil Roberts scored that peach against Gloucester on March 9th!
Will be interesting to know how Eastbourne looked as it sounds bad for them at the moment, but that’s a great result for us.

Considering the problems they have had Eastbourne's recent record has been good, so an excellent three points.
Re: Darts away to Eastbourne Sat November 2
Today was all about mastering the appalling conditions and our boys did it superbly. The wind and rain was horrendous and we even had hailstones at one point. Eastbourne had the wind advantage first half but didn't make the most of it and Darts did excellently to grab the first half lead thanks to an outstanding goal from Stormin Norman Wabo. Second half Darts made much better use of the wind and really pressed Boro so hard they could barely get clear of their penalty area. Our second goal was an astonishing 30 yard screamer from Elliot Romain and that sealed the points. A late rally from Boro saw Mark Smith forced into a couple of great saves but the job was done. Excellent result and a very good performance in truly appalling conditions.

Spike sums it up very well, a good performance and thoroughly deserved victory.

A question to all. Are we heading in the right direction ? Steve King will be aiming for the play offs.

Very good 3 points.
Early days but things are improving slowly.
There possibly will be more changes to the squad and more
Players leaving but that is football.
On to Tuesday and hopefully 3 more points!
COYDss!

Our team deserves a big pat on the back for that victory in that crazy weather. Against the wind first half it was a real battle but the team worked hard and scored two good goals a neat finish by Norman and a real thumper by Elliot Romain into the top corner second half. Eastbourne were better than I expected but overall we deserved the points.

Well SK has wasted no time in bringing in fresh faces and Romaine scores a worldy against his former club. Happy with a clean sheet, an away win and just as important some momentum. Another tough away day coming up and the team needs to reproduce that effort.Reginald Horsfield wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 8:36 am https://twitter.com/dartfordfc/status/1 ... 93730?s=12

SK also says he set the team up in a certain way and it worked just great.
Alluded to further coming and going in the squad as he builds his team.
