A cashless society
Re: A cashless society
If you are under 25 (that may actually be 45!) the answer is almost certainly yes - if you expect to pay for a cup of coffee by tapping your card you would expect bigger spends to be equally easy
Re: A cashless society
Silverado you want to pay cash to get into a football ground and so do I . In fact I would rather pay cash for all small purchases but admit I have started to tap for under £30 purchases
However it is not important what you and I want to do. I am convinced young people want to be cashless and I feel sure it hurts the club income to deny this choice to punters
I only labour the point because I feel the club is the loser

Re: A cashless society
But if the club has to pay for the machines and the merchant fees (see above) will the club be a winner or a loser??
Re: A cashless society
Never mind about going cashless with a tap, what about a bit of bartering? How much veg. from an allotment would be needed to gain admittance?
Would my old toaster be enough to get this old supporter in? With many years of watching 'Bargain Hunt' behind me I am sure I now have the skills and technique to get a good deal.

Either because the idea will be taken on, or it will be explained why it is not something that should be done at this time.
I am constantly amazed at the fact that many people feel the need to tap away at a keypad rather than do something more constructive about their ideas.
This is a big advantage of being a supporter of DFC. Every single supporter has easy access to the people running the club. Yet cowardly spouting off on anti-social media as I call it, seems to be many people’s modus operandi.
Moaning about moaning. Priceless.

Careful Kentc, you could be accused of moaning about moaning about moaning.
… and before anyone accuses me of moaning about moaning about moaning about moaning, I'm not against moaning about moaning about moaning myself, but there's a lot of moaners out there who might be.
