Darts away to Eastbourne Sat November 2

Post by Kebabus »

Well we go in search of points away from the Park, at Eastbourne, invariably murky, chilly and a tough place to get points judging by last years debacle.

Obviously wishing all a safe journey and the hope for a good result.....

It cannot possibly, and I mean that quite literally, it cannot possibly be any worse than last season. That was an absolute debacle, arguably the most embarrassing and shameful performance from a Dartford side that I have ever seen in what is now over half a century of following the Darts. Steve King should find a video of that match and make our players watch it repeatedly between now and 3pm on Saturday. Winning isn't always possible, but one thing that is ALWAYS achievable is for everyone to give it their best. There's more than enough talent in our squad to start getting some decent results and it would be nice to start at Eastbourne and get some payback for last year. COYD

I am unable to make this one and hope for those that do that it is a huge improvement on last season. Need to be beating the teams around us but nothing comes for free. 100% effort required.

The weather could have a big say in today's game. The forecast for Eastbourne is a 90% chance of rain with 35-40 mph winds!

Billericay v Weymouth called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

2 new signings, one a loan Spike, as predicted, thanks. Also weather as predicted. Gonna be a tough game for both teams.

The wet and windy weather must be kicking in around the south of England. The matches at Plymouth, Bognor, Chichester, Poole, Guernsey, Truro, Taunton and Weston-Super-Mare among others have been called off.

Left back Liam Gordon joins on a one month loan from Dagenham & Redbridge. He has been capped 5 times by Guyana this year.

Attacking midfielder Kyjuon Marsh-Brown joins from Biggleswade Town. Previous clubs include Whitehawk and Welling.
