Re: Kingstonian (H) FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round
We are where we are in the league because that is how good this team is. Forget the celebrations against Oxford they were very poor. This squad is nothing better than where they have got us too ok maybe another 6 spaces up the league. Unusual for I to be negative but I am pre empting what may be said. For me I'm afraid you can only play the cards you are dealt. Get a bad hand and you cant win. Sorry if people think that's wrong but I've had a pint of many.

I have to agree on, both players were very poor today and in fact Luke W does not look like the same player as the first time around. I can't recall either player beating their man or getting the ball into the box, which as a winger is a standard operating procedure. What makes no sense to me is why leave our most creative player on the bench when you are chasing the game and bring on Bonner. Just wished that TB stayed on another week before we started tinkering with the team for such a lucrative clash. Unfortunately, we created our own downfall with three really poor errors today, only AP and Ronny V looked comfortable on the ball. As for our set pieces, they would have been poor for Sunday morning park football.Dartford Knight wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 5:27 pm As for Luke w and Ben g they look great on the ball with all there twists and turns but produce very little.

Reading some of these comments wow! The same squad that got us to this round suddenly aren't good enough because of 1 game. We weren't very good but no way deserved to be 3 down. Not sure what our last sub was about? Thought this manager wanted to play football but then sticks a tall cb up front encouraging the long ball. Don't think Burman would have lost today

This club needs to move on. It's not an old pals act or a sunday team or retirement home..
As a suggestion let Steve king get his players in. Those that have athleticism, get round the back, defend, score. Ok I get it from the those at the higher level is this really what we want ?. From my point of view yes it is. If the people at the top.think different then declare it. Steve will make us great again. Moving on everyone who disagree should just watch park football and forget DFC

I don't disagree about the Manager getting his own squad together, indeed I would expect that, as he is likely to want a different style of play. I just feel that it is easier said than done when you come in to the club well into the season and players have already been awarded contracts.

Absolutely gutted about today, can’t remember feeling so bad.As soon as I saw that we had two ball players in the middle & no ball winner
the hard work getting to this stage is gone, but it will all be ok!!

The first 40 minutes was one of the worst performances I have seen from a Dartford side. We looked much better in the 2nd half but the damage was done.
I am not sure the new full back, Jordan? has played football before. In the middle you can feel the loss of players like Bradders and Noble who win the ball for you. Lightweight McQueen remains a concern though I think when Pugh is fully fit and Charlie is back we will look much better. Out wide, lots of tricks and step overs but no end result, no decent final ball into the box. All in all I think the season is going to be long, hard and a bit depressing. I hope I am wrong.

Agree with Stuart we were complete shite for the first 40 minutes and what was Luke Wanadio thinking with that diabolical Crossfield pass deep in our own half that set them up for their second goal. In the second half we gave them a battering but couldn't nick the draw which was a shame because I would have fancied us to win the replay the K's looked very ordinary second half when they started to run out of steam. We have been very unlucky with injuries Charlie's shoulder and Lee Noble took a kick on the knee at Oxford, these players make a big difference to the team. Steve King will need time to put things right. The crowd looked bigger than 850 which after the result was also very disappointing.

Tommy makes a good point about the absence of Sheringham and Noble, but don't forget Wynter and Howard would probably have started too, if fit and available. It's interesting to see Luke Allen's name in the list of players who are not good enough at a time when he still leads the way in the race for Player of the Season on this site.
