Hopefully no more misery now as the sun is shining for DFC. Well done to the board for making a stand, IT must’ve been a tough decision since us fans are such needful things and we’ve yearned for something of a firestarter after such a different season last year.

Over to you, Richard Bachman, Tommyknock ‘em bandy.

Good appointment, and I wish Steve King all the best. As has already been said, there are no guarantees in football, but this looks like the club appointing the best man available. We may have to be patient now, as he begins to shape the team into what he needs, but this is a good day for the club. Well done the board.

Nice play on SK's book titles Mikey. Let's hope it doesn't end in Misery.

Welcome to the club Steve, I'd like to think with this appointment we'll be playing National Conference in two seasons time. No pressure then.
Let's all hope it all works out well for the man, who in my opinion looks similar to Robbie Williams.

Hail the King.
Up the Dart's. Nice piece from Steve too, Irving I mean.

We have made the best appointment possible, the man has been a success everywhere he's been and he can help us realise our massive potential. He knows the National League South like the back of his hand.

I wonder what players he'll look to immediately bring in to come in given the recent departures we've had.

Im really happy about this appointment, it should create a buzz around the place, and at last it shows the board mean business in getting this club moving in the right direction.

Wish him all the best. No idea if he was the best candidate. I assume the expectation this season is to keep us up
