Deserved to win tonight got better the longer the game went on.Have to say this chemo look very tired as our pressure pulled them all over the place and you could see only a Darts win.MOTM was Greenhalg run himself into the ground.

Thought missed chances was going to cost us tonight then bladders pops up with a blinding header. Top class stuff, he seems to be on top form. Seemed odd to me watching the team for the first time out this season with so many new faces, exciting times ahead (without wanting to get carried away early doors). Coyds!

A great result tonight well done Darts, it's always good to get one over the 2nd hand car dealer from Essex and his team.

Thanks to Gilsey for the updates, a great start for the new management team.

What exactly happened between Flanners & Stringer, what caused the confrontation for Stringer to supposedly punch out??

There guy overran the ball right in front of our dug out and as it went over the line Flan stopped it with his foot. The Chelmsford player obviously thought he could still get it and tried to play it but went over the ball with Flans foot behind it. Nothing in it for me until "others" got involved and made the situation worse for both clubs.

Chelmsford started the game well but like Saturday at Bath we gradually took control and finished the first half on top.
We started the second half well and looked sharper to everything and IMO took a deserved lead. Chelmsford had a go at the end but we looked well organised and got another good win.
I've always felt in recent meetings against them we've approached the games apprehensively and with a negative attitude, however there seemed to be a different feel around the game tonight, so very happy.
The defence was good again but every player worked tirelessly throughout. MOTM for me was between the same two as Saturday, Nobes and Ben. Gave it to Ben Saturday but Nobes just edged it tonight as he ran his heart out again as is truly a great player to have in our team.

What a day , landed at Stanstead a couple of hours before kick off and came straight to the ground from the airport

Thought we started slowly and Chelmsford looked very strong but as the first half went on we grew into the game and finished the half on top . Second half and we got better and better until up popped Bradders with a sublime header

Chelmsford played their normal game that we expect from them , lots of nasty and dirty tactics and then they go down quicker than their Essex girlfreinds

Enjoy the goal
