Congratulations to Geoff - richly deserved
Geoff Ashburn - Volunteer of the Month
Re: Geoff Ashburn - Volunteer of the Month
Well done and thanks for all your efforts Geoff. One of these days I am going to win the 50/50, it is my main ambition in life.
Throughout the country football clubs rely on the likes of Geoff to help clubs, I expect without them a lot of clubs wouldn't exist. A reminder perhaps at a time of debate of how much we should pay the new manager, without all the unpaid help from many volunteers it wouldn't be a lot.

I don't know his name but I do recognize his face and I have spoken to him on many occasions. It is a thankless task doing all the mundane jobs around the club and I can only admire the dedication of our many helpers at out great club. Well done Geoff, thank you for all the hard work you put in.

Congratulations Geoff well deserved recognition for a club stalwart.
I must say I miss all the camaraderie at Princes Park - I really enjoyed my years of involvement

A well-deserved award! I spent six or seven weeks in Kent during the summer and called in at Champions Bar two or three times a week. I can scarcely recall a day when Geoff was not there doing some work, usually with Ken Humphrey, who I seem to remember getting a similar award.
