Okay I'll be honest, I had to look them up as I'd never even heard of them and had no clue where they were. But having done so, I can see why as although they've been in existence since 1935, they have been playing at a lower level and only joined the Southern League Div 1 in 2018, winning it at their first attempt, hence this is their first year in the Southern Premier where they are doing okay having won 4, lost 4 of their 8 games so far. Clearly they are no mugs and they managed to dump Dorchester out of the competition (1-0) in the last round.
They play at Gang Warily Recreation Centre, Newlands Rd, Blackfield, Southampton SO45 1GA (Distance 118 miles)

We say it every year, the cash rewards for progressing are good. We are vulnerable at the moment and we should not be going there with any complacency. Need to be fired up as we all like a nice cup run!

News for those travelling on Saturday from B & L's twitter feed, 'The bar is fully stocked for the match' ready for the hoped for larger than usual crowd. The big boys are in town, hopefully our run can continue and we can welcome some big boys to P. P. in later rounds.

Blackfield & Langley's average attendance this season is 122 hopefully with help from the Dartford faithful that should at least be doubled. I assume most of the local football fans follow Southampton but fortunately their Home fixture against Chelsea is on Sunday so perhaps that might add a few on the gate. A banana skin awaits lets hope we avoid slipping on it and at least get them back to Princes Park for a replay.

I won't be able to make it for this game as away with The Duke & wives at Folkestone for a 60's music weekend.
So good luck to the team and hopefully a win and safe journey to all the travelling fans tomorrow.
