The only one I've thought of is Hakan Heyretting and he seems quite happy at Maidstone with Still.
Apparently when he applied for the Chelmsford job he was laughed out of the room because of his unrealistic budget demand.
Did he apply for the Chelmsford Job then double B. And add to that the word apparently suggesting a mere rumour. Iam intrigued at your source if true (umm I think not) and indeed as I speak to a number of Chelmsford fans they are in fact green eyed that a man of his stature wants to join the Darts but what an honour for us. I reckon he could walk into Chelmsford or any other club tomorrow they would all want him. And I wouldnt have thought Mr King would get involved with anyone similar to John Holmes. As for someones earlier comment about attendances at Welling I have been checking the stats admittedly on the go. It appears that attendances went up on average by about 30 % under Steve King. And indeed I think I'm correct in saying that in fact the average crowd per game was 100 more than in Welling Fcs championship winning year

Indeed The Wings crowds went up by almost 200 per match, but even that obviously wasn't enough as low crowds were one of the reasons given by Mark Goldberg for the cuts to Kent Online. The pre-season budget must have been far too ambitious. Steve King accepted the situation nearly succeeded and did say he would honour his 2 year contract, but club and manager agreed to go their different ways during the summer. The clock keeps ticking, soon all will be revealed.

So the main contenders would seem to be Jay Saunders, Steve King, Bobby Wilkinson, Brad Quinton … and possibly Scott Lindsey?

Admittedly there's a lot of rumour consolidation, guesswork and speculation involved, but I think it's more or less correct.
