There's nothing as great as a new season win,
except for two in a row, perhaps. Fingers crossed
for Tuesday ..

Great result - nice to get the first win up there so quickly. Good win at a ground that will be a tough call for many.

Really important win and a good first day for Adam & Jamie.

We played a very narrow 4-2-3-1 formation and imo sometimes found it difficult when in possession as we didn't have many options or out balls so gave the ball away a bit more than we would have liked. But first game in a new era with plenty of new faces so time to work on a few things but more positives than negatives.

On the day there was not much between the two sides but as usual the defence stood strong (Tom.B the pick of the bunch) and as a result gave us the opportunity to win the game late on. Nobes worked tirelessly in the middle with Bradders putting in the type of performance we have seen many times before but the pick of the midfield for me was Ben Greenhalgh, very composed in possession and some good dead balls as well. Philpot looks promising with some good touches and all the rest of the new guys did ok.

Greenhalgh just edging MOTM for me.

Good start, Bath are no mugs so this is an excellent result for the Darts.
On to Tuesday and hopefully 3 points against our old rivals from Essex.
Good to hear that the new lads did well and congratulations to Jamie and
Adam on their first victory.COYDss!!

Was a good start in hot conditions. Does anyone know what the first penalty was given for? It certainly seemed to take everyone by surprise. Bradbrook's header came from a corner which in turn came from a free kick and would certainly spare his blushes for the penalty. Will be interesting to see who steps up for the next one.
Two penalties in two minutes, that's about a quarter of what we got all last season.

Yes, nice to start with a win. This wasn't going to be an easy game for us and when I heard we were a goal down, was not surprised.
Looking forward to Tuesday, will no doubt see you there Babylon.
Let's hope for a GOOD win with none of this 'bogey team' bollocks talk. This is a very changed Dartford side and it would be very nice to put that one to rest.
He said, hopefully. ;)

The penalty decision looked like it was for a handball from where we were standing.
