Another loss but a touch more positive. We looked up for it today but unfortunately not much is going our way. Two quality finishes for them, a very soft penalty and a red which never was. They were there for the taking. The rot continues and we have a battle on our hands this season.
Also GET A LEFT BACK!!

We move on, COYD

Oh dear - unbeaten home record gone then - don't think much of the new bloke - just jesting!
Not sure that the 2 big men up front worked too well - I thought that Sherringham came alive once Cunnington had gone off (saw Teddy there too - manager applicant?) - but the mid field was poor - where is the Noble we all love hiding? Lots of crosses from Ryno and two well taken goals from Greenhalgh.
The penalty was a bit of a joke - very soft but we should have dealt with the situation better.
From where I was stood on the wooden man side I thought red immediately though a number around me thought not - their player made the most of it for sure.
Heard Tony on Radio Kent - a stuttering interview, almost incoherent at times, went to great lengths to say he never interfered with Coyle and Flanagan work - letting them come to him if they needed help.
Overall I thought we played quite well Dorking did score a with a couple of brilliant shots - but we have a lot of work to do to get out of this rut.
MoM needs a bit of thought - Wynter played well and Ben can't be ignored but I'll ponder on that.

We certainly looked a much better side today despite the final score and the players seem to have bonded together a lot better and I thought that the two up front did work encouraging a lot more crosses into the box.
Ben and Charlie's goals were well taken so we are starting to score goals but at the other end we are leaking them badly.
24 goals against in 10 games so nearly 2.5 per game is very poor and how many more penalties are we going to give away whilst we have scored just 14.
Tony needs to find a left back quickly for starters as their final goal came from a cross as the winger was not being marked or challenged by Flisher who also gave the foul for the free kick they scored from.(He's not a full back though just filling in)
Some good goals from both sides but at the end of the day another defeat and a bit more for Tony to think about.

A bit more fight and effort on show today. The team worked hard and didn't get the rub of the green, but defensively we were still all over the shop at times. I don't blame Alex Flisher as he is obviously filling in at a position where he doesn't belong, but boy do we need a left back. Cutting Warner-Eley from the team before we had a replacement has cost us at least one goal in every game since he left. Poor Alex was really put through the mill today and he'll probably be cringing with embarrassment when he goes to collect the sponsor's MOTM award.

I think we'll be okay once TB gets us sorted.

The football goods are having a laugh with us at the moment. We were the better side today and should consider ourselves very unlucky. The red card was ridiculous from the ref , yes Lee went in with force but it was his knee that made some contact and not a high boot FFS ! This must be appealed.

Here are our goals

I thought more promise today and a, different day would have won the game. As someone else posted TB gave a strange interview very stumbling for him

Two goals gifted to Dorking by a bad goal keeping total wrong position we don’t only need a left back we need a good keeper. As for the two tall me how many more games do we have endure before this team realise that booting the ball to the tallest player is so predictable when will we start playing from out the back

It was a better performance and we showed a lot more spirit and determination but missed chances early in the second half and a lack of concentration at crucial times cost us dearly.

Dorking caused us problems down our left and unfortunately this is the fault of previous mismanagement in letting go our only left back and having nobody else to play there, it has cost us at least a goal every game since, utter madness. Having said that I was a little surprised to see Alex play their again and that we didn't bring on Howard as his pace may have been more effective against them.

I'm not convinced that the two big men worked that well but it may in time as it made us a little one dimensional with no pace on the pitch until late in the game.

The red card looked very harsh and no doubt effected us, the numerous stoppages for head injuries were also frustrating.

A small step in the right direction but still a lot of work to do.
