If Steve King gets the job you are nailed on for a play off spot. He's a marmite character but boy does he know the Non league scene. Plays nice football and tactically brilliant most of the time. Gets the very best out of his players who run through brick walls for him. For the sake of all the other teams in the league I hope he carries on with his holiday to be honest.

Steve King is a clever Manager at this level and got Welling into the Playoff Final at Woking last season but doesn't he live in Brighton, that's a bit of a trek to Dartford for training etc. I suspect if TB can get our team up and winning what's to stop him seeing out the season as manager.

Bradley Quinton is young, passionate and knows a lot of good young players. A number of his players have gone on to play in the football league. He has to be in the mix. Worked on a very small budget at Braintree and got them promoted.

There seems to be plenty of experienced managers available at present, making a decision from them or other suitable candidates that might come forward will not be easy.
As long as we find someone half as good as George H. Green we should be ok.

We do indeed, and i hope I'm wrong on this, but imo all the while TB is at the club in some capacity i don't think the type of manager we would to see at the club will happen and even if perchance it did happen imo it would only be a matter of time before there was a fall out with TB.

I am amazed that seeking Tony's dismissal still features on here.

If that is the limit to thought process, actual Football and adminiistrative experience
is discarded in favour of mere perception.

Available Managers of any note, will already be aware of what the Club is, the expectations of the Post, and how the Position arose . - Surely the main concern , is that suitable Candidates may not come forward , and allow the Board to make
Informed decisions on behalf of the whole Football Club and Administrative Company.
Again. Just my opinion.

Mike Perfect is right. Honestly, it is ridiculous that some people are still seeking to expel TB from the club. What is the matter with you people? This silly idea that other managers are incapable of working under the shadow of TB is utterly bonkers. He may be on hand to help if requested, but that is a plus, not a minus. In any case, any manager so weak willed as to not be capable of making their own decisions shouldn't be allowed through the door in the first place. Besides that, you are completely demeaning all the great work TB is still doing behind the scenes. It's about time this ludicrous nonsense was put to bed.

I really cannot believe what I am reading? Please tell me if I’ve missed anything, but is there any evidence to suggest that Tony has that much influence over the board, and that any new manager appointed will have to be of his approval? It has been suggested that AF&JC were somewhat restricted in the day to day managing of the team due to Tony’s presence at the club, but surely if that was the case AF&JC would never of excepted a new season in charge, and if true would of surely stated so ?
Sorry but the poor showing last season and into this season is strictly down to the fact that Adam and Jamie were not up to the challenge , nothing else? So now we look for a new manager, and he has to be of a certain type; what does that mean exactly, Non DFC I expect? I find it disrespectful to even suggest that Tony is some sort of trouble maker and that he should be removed from the club that he has served with great distinction both as a player and manager with great success. Please give the man the credit he deserves and stop portraying him as some sort of troublesome influence.
