Only bonner and noble Luke played under Tony the rest are the present management team I think that says it all struggling every game. PLEACE bring TB back. Interesting to see who agrees Not a lot will but still interesting. Arthur its past 9.30

While it won’t happen bringing back TB would help imo.
I wanted change but this isn’t change.
TB is a legend and did a great job but I felt at that moment he’d taken us as far as he could and had a few recent poor seasons.
This is not change and I see no reason to change from TB to what we’re doing now.
The managers do have and will have my support but that doesn’t mean they’re doing a great job I just think we must back them. Even if I think they’re not doing a good job.

I also think the club deserve credit for backing financially A and J and can’t see why the board would change it after financial backing.

They deserve a chance but for how long I’m not sure. IMO

Arty, I don't understand what you are getting at. You seem to take great delight in all that I say, in having a pop. Have I upset you in any way?
Considering what has been said on here so far, I feel that my posts are constructive and hardly as nasty as a lot on here, and yet you pick up on mine.
Now forgive me, but normally when I see a post from you I tend to let it slide. If I have irked you in any way then I apologise. But it is true, I really can't be arsed with a lot of what you say.
Still you are a supporter, and a 'loyal' one.
As are a lot of us.

Not at all Ozy. Just merely watching a race as I was reading your post. Totally irrelevant really. No offence meant Gunga din. Arthur has realised that things will never change on here. If we were to win the Champions league people would complain it doesn't mean anything unless we won it back to back. Anyhow I guess you wont read this as you will glance over it. Someone give Ozy a ring and say Arty meant no offence.

Kentc Totally agree the board have backed them all the way. But I believe bad signings since been in charge. I know a great loss in EB retired but please look what brought in cm this season lee noble got a lot on his shoulders to carry this year

I don't think that is fair Arthur. For years and years under Tony Burman, the overwhelming majority of posts on here were positive, even when we (sort of) got relegated from the same division two years in succession. So much so that the few who did find something negative to say used to complain about how they were driven away by "rose-tinters" such as myself. As with all clubs, there are a few who would always find something to moan about, but they were massively outnumbered. The real reason there is so much negativity on here now is because there is so much to be negative about. I have yet to find a single person who doesn't think Flanners & Coyley's tenure has been anything less than (at best) very disappointing and the only debate to be had is how you choose to respond to that. Some keep quiet, support the team and hope things get better, others believe that it will never get better until we have new management in which case there is no logical reason to keep quiet about it.

It is not just a few perpetual moaners in a sea of positivity. It is clearly the mainstream view that things need fixing. That is hardly surprising because anyone who is happy with how things are being run at the moment has remarkably low aspirations in my opinion.

Home and Away- the midfield signings were very good- Luke Allen has finished top of the Man-of-the-Match poll in three games and nobody can be blamed for Sam breaking his leg.

Ozymandias wrote: Tue Aug 27, 2019 10:33 am I am surprised Arty hasn't joined the conflab already, what with all the negativity on here at the moment.
But still.
I don't think that 'Up the Darts' has ever put a positive post on here, but even the 'old guard' are beginning to have doubts now.
Gilsey was there and has Nobes playing alongside Luke Adams???
Braintree wasn't a great performance and I did wonder if we were going to get anything at Hungerford. Saturday we have HH and the following one Dorking at home. Ouch.
Many said that August alone would sort out our season. Well, if it's anything to go by.......watch this space. Disappointed with yesterdays score, but not surprised.
I would be surprised if up the Darts is even a Dartford fan.
I've put numerous positive posts on here, it's a shame people only pick up on my 'negative' ones

Banana Banana you're an idiot. EVERY single comment I make you decide to make a snide remark on. Even when you see my name mentioned you take a dig at me.

A forum is a place to post my opinion, clearly I'm not allowed to do that here so maybe i'll never post again
Do you think that referring to two respected ex Dartford players as 'clowns' constitutes expressing an opinion ?
I would suggest that it is a puerile insult which some might consider emanates from an obnoxious persona.
Did you cheer on Jamie Coyle when he helped Dartford Football Club gain promotion from the Rymans North and also Rymans Premier leagues? Did you cheer on Adam Flanagan as he led Dartford Football Club, as captain, to promotion from the Rymans Premier league. Did you support Dartford then? Please 'upthedarts' carry on posting but do try and be constructive, articulate and considerate.

No one wants Flanners and Coyle to succeed more than me, and probably Arty. But l have to admit we have been rather mediocre in our performances over the last two seasons. I have seen only a handful of passionate wins and one that really stands out was the 1-0 win over Chelmsford at the beginning of last season and at that time I thought that we were on to something good with the lads. But I must say very little to shout about since.
The run after Christmas this year was our best, bringing us into the play-off positions and looking strong, but what an absolute collapse/fiasco took place at the end.
Arty, I am with you and I want them to succeed.
