Things could have been so different yesterday and we would have been a lot more cheerful. Their keeper made a great save in the second half to deny us a third goal and their defender nearly sliced the ball into his own net a few moments later. Two games in three days and having to kick up that slope in 32oC temperatures in the second half must have taken its toll on the lads. Understandably, we did look leggy late on, as Gilesy mentioned above.

But none of that can disguise the fact that there are big problems that need to be sorted out - and quick!

We are almost at the point where even Arthur can't keep making excuses for our management. Almost ten games gone, with only one win and a massive negative goal difference, whatever way you look at it, it don't look good.

I am surprised Arty hasn't joined the conflab already, what with all the negativity on here at the moment.
But still.
I don't think that 'Up the Darts' has ever put a positive post on here, but even the 'old guard' are beginning to have doubts now.
Gilsey was there and has Nobes playing alongside Luke Adams???
Braintree wasn't a great performance and I did wonder if we were going to get anything at Hungerford. Saturday we have HH and the following one Dorking at home. Ouch.
Many said that August alone would sort out our season. Well, if it's anything to go by.......watch this space. Disappointed with yesterdays score, but not surprised.

I have not posted for a while because I was so annoyed after the Chelmo debacle but I have been a DF C fan for over 60 years and there have been up and downs like any
Club has endured
But it is time that our board questioned whether these two
good ex players are good managers.
Only 7 games in, 16 goals against and a lot of unhappy
fans.It is simply not good enough
Get TB back as caretaker until a new man is found
Sorry but imho these two are nice guys but they have blown it. Tin hat is on but DF C deserve better.

I would be surprised if up the Darts is even a Dartford fan.

I've put numerous positive posts on here, it's a shame people only pick up on my 'negative' ones

Banana Banana you're an idiot. EVERY single comment I make you decide to make a snide remark on. Even when you see my name mentioned you take a dig at me.

A forum is a place to post my opinion, clearly I'm not allowed to do that here so maybe i'll never post again

I guess I qualify as one of the 'old guard' and like many of my generation have seen some really great sides but also some really underwhelming sides - either category managed by good managers. Like many I was impressed by the signings for this season and filling the obvious need for additional talent up front sorely missing last season. We will not, I repeat not be in a relegation battle and I am hopeful the team will gel very soon and start climbing the table and the disgruntled fans will be backing the managers - albeit some reluctantly. If the results don't come I also think that the management duo will be honest enough to admit it and make way. In the meantime, the best that real fans can do is back the boys on the pitch for it is they that will turn things around.
