It's Bath away!
Well the new season kicks off on Saturday - the real test! Looking forward to hearing all the updates - who will make the cut? Predictions? I'm going to be optimistic and say 2-1 to the Darts.

Re: Bath City away Saturday Aug 4, 2018
Bath signed prolific goal scorer John Mills,( well at Hereford last season he was), during the summer and had apparently had a muck out of players from last season. I know that one man doesn't make a team and probably Bath are a little like us with supporters wondering what to expect this season.
My first game will be home to Chelmsford, but being so early on in the season, it doesn't quite have the excitement attached to it as the same fixture last season.
I haven't seen the lads this pre season, so I truly don't know what to expect. Old faces gone, new faces in, although we all know the names of the new guys (some anyway), are they going to gel when it matters. I must admit with the introduction of Adam and Jamie I feel like, and this is no disrespect to Tony, there is a breath of fresh air around the place. New ideas, new players.
Hopefully we can start well, it would be nice to think we will be out of the blocks quickly and get settled just as quick. I am looking forward to the season and hope to see friends on Tuesday night.
But a nice win at Bath would be most welcome.
Good luck to the new management and the squad and team for Saturday and the season.

Looking at the South, I expect Billericay, Chelmsford, and Torquay to be the Division Favourites for this season. And as long as Tamplin can keep his money and his temper I expect Billericay to be big money winners.
I will be interested in what is happening at Concord Rangers? Also I expect Wealdstone, Dulwich and Welling to be up there.
Woking it seems are the Hampton and Richmond of last season and must be edge of play-offs for me.
For Hampton, St Albans, HH and Us I really don't know what to expect.
Slough Town are my Dark Horses and I expect Chippenham to do better this time around, no 2nd season syndrome for them.
As for the rest a pretty ordinary season.
All only my honest opinion.

Just rejoined the fórum after it crashed, and a summer away from the football a bit. From here, I have no idea what to expect - very much a clean slate after TB finally called it a day. Fingers crossed we can get off to a good start at Bath, but there Will be some big competition at the top of the table.

Bath have won 6/7 of their pre-season friendlies and will go buoyantly into thier opening home fixture. I’m disappointed we won’t be seeing an imposing top two of Wall and Sam-Yorke, especially since Pugh will be out until somewhere around Christmas. My predicted starting XI is Ibrahim, Driver, Vint, Bonner, Onyemah, Igahore, Roast, Greenhalgh, Oyenuga, Cue, Sam-Yorke; leaving a bench of Noble, Mensah, Fulton and Murphy. If Bradbrook travels, I can see him nudging Roast to the bench. Looking at this team, defensively we look good but not convinced in attack.
Hope to see many of the DFC faithful in Somerset on Saturday!

I think Jamie & Adam will start with:-
Ibrahim
Driver, Bonner, Vint, Onyemah
Greenhalgh, Bradbrooke, Noble, Murphy
Sam-Yorke, Oyenuga.

Now with the revelations regarding Alex Wall, like I say, I really don't know what to expect. And as for a starting 11

Would much rather see Park Lifes team starting than DA's. But i think we're in for a few more surprises yet??
