This latest description of their second goal sounds very different to the one given by Up the Darts. I wonder which comment was made by someone actually at the game.

After Saturdays win i thought we had turned the corner, but obviously i was wrong.
On the bright side we are only 5 points off a play off spot.

… and whether or not we each believe that, is the crux of the matter.

For those that believe the managers are capable of turning our fortunes around, then they will see this weekend as the start of a recovery and will be dismayed with those who don't acknowledge it as such.

For the others who have no confidence in the management, this was a few scraped points that will serve only to extend the agony until such time as the inevitable failure results in their departure. For these people, as pleasant as 3 points against Braintree may have been, they are weighing this up against what they perceive as the long term damage of sticking with the current duo.

Personally I'm really struggling to decide which group I'm in, but I do genuinely believe that ultimately, both groups have the long term benefit of the club at heart and maybe we should each try to understand that when we're arguing on here.

Another tough game at home this Saturday and i hope we can pick up a point at least and a win would be great.
A loss and i think things might start to get nasty from some fans even though i think Hemel Hempstead are a decent side going by their result today and their league position.

Let me start by saying as someone who was there today watching the game, a couple of things look off to me.
We seem to have lost the ability to defend something we did really well has just gone out of the window this season.
The togetherness that we used have a team is missing for what ever reason!

We looked really, really, really leggy, we used to have a team that could run, run, run then run some more! Are we doing something different have we changed their diets.
One of the abilities we had was this under TB but not this season.

Our ability to close out a game is missing now we seem to switch off coming near to the end of the game.
The management team need to address this and really quickly as well, I heard it said to many times today we are to good to go down!!! Well we are not and people better gets used to the fact that this could happen!

Play offs are a long way off this season, mid table if we can turn it around.
Well we are not and on these performances will be down and out before Christmas.

I like Adam and Jamie but the board need to do something now as we are going to be done.

Yes everyone said tough month August if we don’t start doing something it’s going to be to late to save us.

I don’t believe that we got the substitutions right today, that game was crying out for Ryno today and he was left on the bench and we know he is a game changer when he’s on it.
Corner takers need some practice to many wasted kicks, if it hadn’t been for their number two not being any good then the corners we did get he would have ate up instead of putting back out!

Thought Rob and Luke at the back had good individual performances, despite for earlier comments about the defence.

Midfield lee worked well with Luke Adams, but got little from the referee today took a couple to the face that I saw.

Adam worked well with McQueen up front and seem to starting to jelly let’s hope it’s soon.

MOTM - McQueen worked hard as always!

So all in all a poor weekend for us!

I’ve no clue what is going on down at Dartford. All I know is Coyle is a totally shite manager. Can’t comment on the other fella. Coyle was useless at Welling and if he’s got any input at your gaff then god help you. Nice bloke shit manager.

We had a reasonable 15-20 minute spell in the first half with a well taken goal from Darren but other than that did very little, especially in the second half when we only had one decent effort from Adam.C who again worked hard but with little support.

Some seem to think we may have started a revival but i have seen nothing in our performances to really believe that and imo we still have issues both on and off the field.
We are 20th in the league, have conceded the most goals so i'm not at all optimistic. I believe with the current set up mid table obscurity is the best we can hope for but absolutely nowhere near where we should be.

The question we should be asking is whether you believe Adam & Jamie are capable of turning things around and making us a competitive team long term (by competitive i mean play offs as an absolute minimum but challenging for the title as a very realistic objective)?

Oh the agony of conceding so late!
Truly feel for you all, the fans.....I know many of you pump white and black through your veins and it painful to see us in 20th place, even the most optimistic and die hard fan would sure agree that's not acceptable?

Any way 2 games in 3 days and 4 points - not the end of the world but what really worries me is the goals against column. What's even more worrying is the team togetherness and spirit - I have picked up on comments that are questioning this - have a talented squad - absolutely but they have to play as a unit with that 'edge'.

Big game on Saturday - can't keep saying that can we?
