Congrats to Darts and all concerned for achieving this recognition. A lot of hard work has gone into this. Another step along the road to success.

Re: Darts Granted National League Academy Licence
So does this mean our Academy will be playing other national league and national league south academies on a regional basis?
Re: Darts Granted National League Academy Licence
Yes it seems that 2 regional leagues have been formed, and a cup competition also.

Excellent news and a reward for all the efforts of so many people on and off the pitch.

Another example of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, well done to all concerned.

Congratulations to the club on gaining this licence.
In total agreement with Lincoln Exile's and Park Life's comments. And the thing is, this work has been ongoing over several seasons now under the direction of Tony Burman. So to those supporters who have commented that he should have stepped away from the club and relinquished his role as Director of Football really have no idea of the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to make a club a long term success.
Well done to everybody involved in this initiative and it will be interesting to see how these two new divisions pan out. Standards can only improve and hopefully we get more young players coming through the academy and progressing to the first team in future.

Well said Pete, TB is a legend and still contributes massively to the club.PeteSamson wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 7:56 pm And the thing is, this work has been ongoing over several seasons now under the direction of Tony Burman. Spot on Pete.
TB's contribution to this club exceeds any individual in our entire history. He continues to make a massive contribution and this recent achievement is just one more in a long line of successes. If he doesn't qualify for legend status then I don't know who does.

Totally agree with PeteSamson ; anybody who thinks that Tony Burman should be excluded from any form of involvement with our club needs a reality check ; and yes, he does indeed come into that bracket of legendary status along with Bradders And Ryno ?
