Yeah i agree, we do disagree on certain things. but i generally just try and make my point and don't shall we say go into as much detail
We have played the same back five in all these games (and the same ten) so it surely can't just be down to one person, also the video doesn't show what happened in the build up to Havant's goal yesterday but i'll let you guess what happened and where it started from.
As for our defending in these two home games, well i agree again we have done well
However we haven't looked like scoring or creating hardly anything so i guess it's personal choice, i would rather be a little more attack minded and try winning a game rather than not win by being more defensive/negative. After all one player doesn't make or break a team.
I am not joining this debate park life but I am interested in your comment as to how the havent goal came about. When a team is up against it all the players need to concentrate and apply themselves to the task. I have already said that I was pleased with the application of all the players but as I saw it Ben greenhalgh made a half hearted attempt to win the ball on our right side on the half way line. He was easily brushed off and the moment the player got away I thought we don’t need this unnecessary reason to defend another attack and thought this is likely to be a goal
I am sure I am right and hopefully Ben will not make the same mistake again
Arthur, I get the general gist that you'd like everyone to be a bit more positive, but there are dozens of conflicting views on here and I'm never really sure which ones you are specifically objecting too. Truth is, come 9.30pm I'm not sure you are either.
For my part, I think recruitment went well and we have a good squad. I agree we've been unlucky with injuries and I suspect things may well improve when everyone is fit. However I reject the notion that the fixture list has conspired against us and was simply expressing my view that 2 points from 9 is disappointing and that in my opinion, anyone who isn't disappointed by that is seriously lacking in ambition.

I didn't want to name any player but that's exactly as i saw it and just imagine if that had been someone else.
Arthur Horsfield wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:14 pm I am told that many ex Dartford players think that the Dartford fans are shite because of this platform. That is FACT. Dont come on here and say this and that against Arthur it has been said within high ranks. I am ashamed and so should everybody.
If its all the same with you, mate, I think I'll decide for myself whether I should feel ashamed about anything …. not you.
I read various club forums and think that lots of ex players of just about every club must think their fans are *****, because criticism is everywhere. Some justified but plenty over the top said in in the immediate aftermath of a disappointing result. Players should take the advice they are usually given and not read forums and I trust those who are upset never make adverse comments about others on social media, but expect some do. Another point is that there is a lot of positive comment on this forum, don't they read that?
