However the first half tactics were a bit wrong in that cunnington was a bit isolated. He wins nearly every ball but his flicks and knock downs were of little effect as wanadio and Wabo were too wide or too far behind him. In the second half wabo seemed to be inside more and much closer to cunnington and this looked to me as if we had switched to two up front.
It was good to see you last night albeit as we passed each other at half time with a nod of heads and you are correct with the above and they were my thoughts as well and it saves me posting them.

For the second game in a row, Luke Allen was the standout player and gets my MOTM vote. I wasn't at all impressed with him in close season, but he's made an excellent start and I can't wait to see him paired up with Nobes in the middle. I also thought Adam Cunnington had a storming game and it was unfortunate that he went off as we were on top at that point but seemed to fizzle out after that. I have to agree with Rambo and Trev B that Adam needs someone playing closer to him. It was the same thing on Saturday, he won loads of flicks etc but was far too isolated and much of his excellent work went to waste. It was a decent game last night, the Darts played reasonably well and it was very good to watch, but at the end of the day we have only 1 point from six which is a fail by anybody's standards. Defensively we look a bit shaky and if he wasn't captain I think Tom B could be looking over his shoulder, but I'm confident things will improve as the players start to gel and we get some of the injured back into contention. There is so much promise out there on the pitch, hopefully it all comes together quickly.

They do surprise me constantly with their tactics and team selection. I’m still baffled why Cunnington was subbed. I thought we were always in with a chance with his presence. But he does need a partner.

Cunnington slid into what I can only describe as a completely unnecessary challenge by the wooden man and collided with the advertising boards. He was clearly struggling afterwards
